Aside from Jon coming back i really enjoyed the scenes with Tyrion and the dragons. Showed that they are in fact smart like Tyrion said. The second one just turning its head and waiting to be released showed that they do sense a connection with him and are more than just beasts. The look on Varys' face when the dragons didn't eat Tyrion was priceless.

I think this is my main issue. I hate that R&J's selfish actions and the result of their selfish actions gets to be a hero. They divided a kingdom and caused countless people to be killed and families to be wiped out. All because Rhaegar couldn't keep it in his pants and Lyanna couldn't keep her legs shut and just marry Robert.
I can't believer Homer stole GRRM's story...

whoops wrong thread.
but do the Lannisters have any connection with Targareasns, mixed blood lines? I saw someone say that Baratheons and Targareans were close, but I thought the Lannisters were just bankers or something. They have no connection to dragons.
PS: way too lazy to look up how to spell fake names

I actually wanted a gif of Varys face when Tyrion goes into the crypt.

No blood connection. Tywin tried to marry cersei off to rhaegar and Aerys told Tywin to frick off. He basically said Lords don't mate with commoners. Plus Targs married brother and sister for years to keep the blood line pure. It's why they all have white hair.

So has Jon fulfilled his vows to the Night's Watch now?

Yes. The oath ends at death. He can claim Winterfell. If R+L=J, he has a claim on the Iron Throne. But he has bigger White Walkers to fry, in a manner of speaking.

The secret theory is that the mad king had an affair with / raped Tywin's wife when he was the Hand. That explains his abrupt departure and also Tyrion's fricked up appearance (since the Mad King had some screwed up genes). So theoretically Tyrion may be a Targaryen.

It's more of a technicality, but yeah I think he'll claim to have fulfilled it.

I'm not saying I buy it, but yeah it is a theory out there.....

That's Ramsey. Bolton took the kid, it's why Ramsey is the Mad King incarnate.

This is a popular theory, but it borders on crackpottery. In the text itself, there is one mention that Aerys thought Joanna was attractive. The real rift between Tywin and Aerys was allowing Jaime to join the Kingsguard, thus depriving Tywin of his heir. That was years and years after Joanna was dead.

Seems believable judging by the way Tywin hated him so much. He did blame him for the wife's death but there could be more to that underlying hatred IMO. I could get on board with Tyrion being a Targ bastard.

I just really detest that theory.
Not everyone should have secret families.

But there are a lot of people that absolutely detest this theory...and I mean detest it.
ETA: And I didn't even see Dire Wolf's post before I posted this.
