I agree, but he's still on the list in the books. He has to die. There are too many people on her list in King's Landing to not go back. Even if she hears Gregor is dead, in the books, Cersei, Meryn and Ilyn are all in King's Landing. Couple that with the predicted "Clegane Bowl" - and, yeah, she's going back.
And I don't believe all that crap about the faceless men, "Life not yours to take." They are trying to promote obedience first. Discretion is important to them as well. But, she can repay her personal deaths with labor (doing other killings for the order). At least, that's how I see it. As a warg with a wolf pack, she has the potential to be the greatest faceless man (woman) ever.
The thing is - what is Arya going to do when she crosses off the last name. Is she going to go home? Is she going to kill Boltons? What purpose does she have then?

Dunno. Just hope we get to find out.

Hopefully, it will be cathartic enough to restore her to Arya Stark. I think that's her whole arc - having to become Noone to be able to do what she needs to do to find herself. Talk about your effed up childhoods...

She has the best qualities of Ned and the best qualities of Cat. We don't know on Rickon, because he's too young. Bran is more Cat than Ned. Sansa, superficially, has the strengths of neither. Robb was Ned made over.

I agree mostly but Robb was more stubborn like his mom and made decisions based on this where Ned would think rationally. I think Jon is Ned made over.

Bran gonna be the ultimate winner of the thrones. He was the absolute first POV character. He's gonna be the last too

I have this super bad feeling that one of the final parts of the series is going to be Arya stabbing Jon (who she doesn't recognize) as he closes in on the throne-- the whole "letting go of everything to seek revenge" thing never works out well.

Bran will help John lead and control an army of the dead and Stark ghosts to wipe out the Riverlands and everything North of there. Dany comes in from South and wipes out everything with dragons. They unite at kings landing to simultaneosly take the lanisters out. The end.

the best qualities of Cat
Cat had good qualities? In the books she was a megabitch who made bad decision after bad decision which started a war, doomed her husband to death, and resulted in her son losing the war and being murdered at her brother's wedding. Her brother ended up captured, her father dead, all of her children scattered, her home raized and then occupied by the Boltons, even her husband's bastard son (whom she was a total count to) ended up getting stabbed to death.
Cat could go eat a bag of dicks.

Cat could actually be the biggest villain of A Song Of Ice and Fire. She is either a Hodor or someone who makes the worst decisions known to man.

Thanks and have a great day.
No worries, those of us that have been on here for a while knows what kind of grief this show can bring about. We were just trying to warn you about what could/has happened. Didn't piss me off, but I did find it odd that you choose come come in here guns blazing at me when we were discussing the ramifications.

Cat sucks hard, which is why I'm not a fan of LSH. Why does Cat deserve revenge? She caused as much stark blood to spill as anyone
Her death in the show is top 3 most satisfying for me. Joffery, then her probably

Or...it's all by design.
Crackpot: Cat really did want to marry Petyr. The whole plan was orchestrated by the two of them to get rid of Ned and allow her to marry Petyr. Unfortunately, she never counted on the red wedding, so she got murc'd. Petyr had discovered that after all these years, he'd rather creep on Sansa than her mom, so she was expendable.
The whole Lady Stoneheart came back to life to kill Freys and Lannisters, of course, but it was mostly to get revenge on Petyr.

That would be the dumbest and most convoluted plan of all time
"Okay now all we have to do it be faithfully married for 20 years and THEN shite GETS REAL"

Well, Cat's an idiot. Before Robert called Ned to come south to the capitol, Ned was untouchable. She needed someone else to kill him. Petyr created the opportunity by courting Cat's sister until convincing her crazy arse to kill her husband. This brought Ned south where Petyr could manipulate the Lannisters into killing Ned.

Again, way too many variables and way too convoluted to be a possibility. D+D=T is more viable than that
You crackpotted.....poorly

I was just thinking and not sure if had been covered yet, but with the realization that Melisandre probably being 4 centuries old, would she know the process for making valyrian steel which was lost during the Doom of Valyria which according to the timeline was somewhere around 400 years before the War of the Five Kings.
Posted on 4/27/16 at 2:29 pm to wildtigercat93
More convoluted than the Great Dornish Conspiracy?
