Yeah, they are called maesters. Kind of a big deal in Westeros.

but not always Maesters. Sam writes for Jon. He is not a Maester. Littlefinger seems to write his own. We've seen Cersei and Tywin writing their own and we've seen Cersei command Qyburn to write a note to Littlefinger. Also Davos has written for Stannis and he is not a Maester.

Judging by how difficult it seemed to be for Jaime to write that note in season 4 (episode 9 I believe), he most likely would've had a scribe write for him. Or at least that's what my mind wants me to believe.

This is just a drop in the bucket of complaints about S6E1, but Ser Jorah walking right to where Dany's ring just happened to be lying deep in the grassy field?

I mean it was dead in the middle of a huge crop circle that the Dothraki made in that grass with their horses

That's beyond nitpicking

it was in the middle of the horse trail that made a circle

I didn't have an issue with that at all

My point (not to you, but expanding upon your comment) was that it was silly point to try and say "D&D suck and messed up so bad because the penmanship was too neat."

In Clash of Kings (I think), it is implied Jaime is dyslexic and letters got all jumbled for him. So it's actually accurate to the books that he didn't write it.

tywin hints at it in the show to Ayra. Its why Jamie has been on my list of GOATs. Us dyslexics stick together

I agree Salmon. I thought D&D were going to have them randomly find this ring out of the blue and I wouldn't have been OK with that. I thought this way was at least plausible.

With things like that I just assume they were looking for awhile before. It is like the hacking in Mr. Robot, no one wants to watch a dude type in a wrong facebook password for 6 hours until he figures it out
