Yeah. Don't know if it's an error or they have another explanation.

The Dornish storyline is the one unique outlier in the entire GoT universe. They are the Petyr Baelish of houses, in that they are running a long con/secret scheme.
Doran Martell is the only major lord that makes calculated long term decisions. The show plot takes away one of the genius characters

There was a scene in S3 where she's bathing in front of Selyse when she takes it off.
But some fans speculate there is more to the glamour than just the necklace. Since she's losing faith, her powers are much weaker compared to S3; therefore she needs the necklace to continue the glamour and not just faith.

She took off her necklace and turned into an old woman, did she do anything else to cause this? She's been in scenes before without wearing it, so I'm curious what's going on with that.

I enjoyed most of the episode and am okay with Jon not being back yet. I think Bran sees Tower of Joy next week and the episode ends with Mel raising him. I hated that they let the little Sand bitch kill Areo Hotah. One of the baddest dudes in the books, knifed by a 95 pound chick who sucks at choreoraphing. Mereen and Dany were ok, which is an improvement over past seasons. I'm guessing Mel viewing herself was a foreshadowing of having to give up either her life or her power to bring Jon back. She seems to come to grips with it which would make me think she gets to work in the next two episodes.

That's the scene that I was thinking of. I even went back and watched it to confirm that she wasn't wearing anything

That is a damn good theory.

Does anyone else think it would be kind of cool if instead of Brienne saving Sansa, we finally got introduced to the Nymeria and her pack of wolves in the show? I may be reaching here.

Also, the promo for next week looks good.

The neck less thing doesn't bother me. I didn't see it is something that gives her power, the lord of light does. She has lost her faith and her power is gone with t

They'll explain who she is, but won't dwell on it.
The major plot of both show + book appears to be Whitewalkers vs CotF vs Humans. Everything else is a subplot that feeds into the major plot. If you view chaos in human governance as the subplot, the Aegon/Blackfyre is just one cog in that machine that can be removed for simplicity

Interesting and seems like it could be legit.

It's tough to say because the show and the book Selyse are so different. Stannis is more of a true believer in the show while Selyse is the one who struggles to the point of hanging herself.

Wouldn't make much sense. Nymeria is Arya's, she will return when Arya does.

Speaking of Melissandre, the actress gave an interview saying that the age of the character makes her "more wise and even more mysterious".
Didn't make her wise enough to refrain from burning a screaming child and thereby causing ton's of Stannis' army to mutiny/desert of course.
But maybe she meant now that she is somehow coming to terms with her true self and she will be more wise in the future or something like that.
