By all means let's distract the fire-breathing dragon so he can get speared a handful of times

A meh episode after last week. That dragon riding scene was cringe-worthy.
Every week can't be like last week, but yeah, that scene just didn't work. I cringed too.

What Stannis did is horrible, but don't forget, Jamie pushed a little kid off a ledge because he got caught banging his sister from behind. Children have never been immune to evil in that world.

Wasn't his OWN child. Huge difference.

what's funny is the book readers really PO'd how the show handled the Stannis's daughter's storyline.. lol
might as well combine the HODOR thread with book reader thread now cuz they don't know what's going to happen any more than anyone else.

Not a pleasant experience, watching that episode

Not sure why people talking shite about the dragon driving is so unpopular.
On one hand, it looked kind of ridiculous in a show marked by a good balance of fantasy and realism. On the other hand, there probably isn't a way to make a girl riding a dragon look serious.

BURNING YOUR OWN DAUGHTER TO DEATH just to get power to become king of everything is worse.
Stannis may get Roose's guts to evacuate from his body or Tommen to die of a sandy vagina, but Stannis' men will abandon him. He's gone as far as he'll ever get. And he'll deserve it.

Other people are angry or miffed about it, I'm just commenting on their displeasure (and the people down voting for it).
I thought it was a little predictable and cheesy but I'm not bothered by it. It's a fantasy show after all.
