I could be remembering this wrong, but didn't the show allude to some mystery of Jon's birth. I thought they hinted in earlier seasons that he could be Robert's son. Ned possibly was protecting him by bringing him to Winterfell.

Not in the show. The only question the show has raised was who his mother was. And I'll leave it at that

So the Bear Island note to Stannis saying they were loyal to the Starks - Jorah was from there - does he have a sister or daughter or something (they mentioned a niece).

I suspect Jorah will be making a return appearance soon - I guess maybe to try to win back Dany's favor...

My theory is that Bear island is where Little finger is taking Sansa

A remote island west of the Erye, with strong stark support would be a safe place for her

It is still west in relation to the Erye, which LF/Sansa are coming from

Usually people who make radical character decisions like Brienne (insanely oath-filled and loyal) end up dead by now, somehow she still endures . I do like her and hope she achieves something meaningful.

She's basically obtained Superhuman status at this point, but now she's effed with LF, and LF knows how win the non-physical battles.

I wanted Dany to be more badass than she is.. The mother of freaking dragons needs to stop pussyfooting around.

Hopefully though she'll come around..

Nothing better to do I guess.

She keeps acting all honorable but she also refuses to call herself a knight. I think she's just confused emotionally. She needs to get some Calgon and a hot bath and just take a Brie day.

I wanted her to be smarter.

She frees the slaves which pisses off all the owners. Now the slaves love her and they're calling her Mother, so she kills one of them publicly and they all turn on her. She keeps doing the exact opposite of common sense, which is why everyone is frustrated with her character and storyline.

Killing the slave was not what she wanted to do. It was what she had to do. I liked the decision.

People love Stannis, she makes a Stannis decision and she gets crucified for it.

People love Stannis? What? That is unbelievably false. People loved Robert and even Renly. Definitely not Stannis.

I think a Stannis move here would have been to kill the guy that murdered the unsullied without a trial. All the evidence was there, no need for a trial at all.

Ironically, the dude she ended up beheading is the one she should have listened to in the first place. He said the people of Mereen didn't care about a trial, and all they understood was blood.

She chooses not to listen to the guy that was trying to help her and ends up killing him instead, and consequently is now hated by the only people that liked her. She lost control of the dragons, and now she's lost control of the city.

She is just learning how to rule.

She lost her most trusted adviser (Jorah). She has old man Selmy telling her about her cursed lineage and promoting humane solutions, then Daario has her bedroom ear advocating strength and "eastern continent" ways to rule.

Her education of learning how to be a leader is a long burn (similar to Arya's learning how to kill story).

It should pay off eventually. In the meantime, it gets tiresome.

I don't think she's learning much of anything. It's always one step forward and two steps back with her.

She just betrayed all the slaves in Mereen. A master kills an unsullied, he gets a trial. Slave kills the master and he gets executed. She just treated the slaves unfairly which is the way they've always been treated, so she hasn't really done anything to benefit anyone in Mereen.

She's awful

Hopefully Varys and Tyrion get there soon, I hate watching her act like an idiot.

Oh, she sure is taking her lumps. Best way to learn is fail.

But yeah, I'm ready for her to start doing more shite that gets her swag back. I'm guessing Daario's influence will help her in that regard...
