BTW, that image has been confirmed to be photoshopped.

Just don't be an a-hole and post or allude to their content here.

Not really. i get moving some different pieces to different locations but there is a lot of story that they are really skimming over at best. I enjoyed reading about the Night's Watch and Wildlings working together to rebuild and reman the other towers and it seems relevant with the war looming.
I would have loved to see the Iron Islands and the Kingsmoot running parallel with Dany's (improved) story since I am lead to think that Euron would be important and the whole dragon horn story.
Bran could have at least been shown training this season and they left out Coldhands all together.
There are a lot of stories to be told but they chose to sprint to catch up when they didn't have to.

Can someone who has read it say whether it would spoil someone who has read all the books and the chapters from Winter?

I did think it looked kind of retarded when I saw it

A lot are saying it's fake, and I'll just assume it is to be shocked in the finale. Let's say no more about it.

Dany sees a vision of a king with bright blue eyes and a glowing red sword. I think Stannis in essence will have whatever small trace of humanity is in him ripped from him by the Others, and then turned into the new Night's King. I think in the final battle with the Others, Jon Snow will kill Stannis with his new Lightbringer (which I think will be Oathkeeper) and definitively defeat the Others. It's a nice reflection of the Battle of the Trident, plus it adds to the symbolism of the title; Jon is of Ice and Fire, and Stannis is as well.
That'd be cool. I know you and others have said Stannis would be the new Night's King, but what happens to the old Night's King for that to happen?

Why do you think that Lightbringer will be Oathkeeper? I don't think I've heard this theory.

I would assume that theory stems from Oathkeeper being part of Ice

I think the writers must be trying to turn the audience against Stannis. He must be about to bite it.

Have you ever watched game of thrones?
If they are trying to make us hate someone, then they are in it for the long haul

I'm not sure the Night's King actually exists these days in the books. But as for the show, its not important to refer to Stannis as the Night's King. Just have Stannis run his army. That's it. He'll just be referred to as Stannis.

It just rings true to me. Seems like Ned's sword becoming the new Lightbringer as being a great way to end Jon's arc. I really think that sword is destined for pure greatness, and becoming Lightbringer would be the best means for it to be such.

Sorry, but Stannis has done something so unspeakably horrible, that there's no way he's just going to die in one episode. As I've put it, he's damned, and he will pay the full price for lighting his daughter on fire for glory.
Posted on 6/11/15 at 10:10 pm to OMLandshark
You dont think he dies next episode? Its 50/50 for me.

I don't know. I mean, it's really just a "piece" of Ned's sword. And I'm thinking that Longclaw will now be the Stark ancestral sword going forward since it now has the wolf head pommel. Plus I just don't think Lightbringer is going to be a normal Valyrian steel blade since that really isn't unique enough with a handful around. I really don't think it'll be a sword at all. But if it does turn out to be a sword, I'm thinking it'll end up being Dawn since it is the only sword of it's kind.
But I'm more in the camp of it being metaphorical. I could see it alluding to the Night's Watch itself, or even the dragons.
I just think it has to be something a lot more unique that Valyrian steel.
