But Tyrion is still a Lannister heir though. That's why Tywin tried sending him to Casterly Rock...so he could impregnate Sansa and get a Lannister (and an heir) back over there.
Did he try to send him to Casterly Rock? I thought he said he'd never give Tyrion Casterly Rock?

Also, Jaime could leave the Kingsguard if he wanted to. IIRC, earlier this season, Tywin told him that he could no longer be in te KG because of his hand, and he would go back to Casterly Rock too.
I think Jamie will end up leaving the KG to become the Hand to Tommen, and act as a father figure to him (go figure).

Besides, Dany doesn't know what the frick she is doing. She has no control over her dragons and it's pretty pathetic, imo.
So, she's basically kinda like almost every young mother these days with 3 kids.

I don't see that. I think she's gonna to try to find Jagen fasho, but actually become one? Who knows. I just think she feels like she knows someone in Braavos, and there isn't much else for her in Westeros, so why the hell not try something new.
When she last saw him, he offered to train her in Bravvos to be like him. That's whys she's going there

This is outstanding analysis.
Except I take issue with the Hound part. He had that infection on his neck, but it wasn't really affecting his fighting ability really. I mean, he was moving around same as always during his fight with Brienne.
And she did beat Jaime, but it wasn't easy (at first), and he was worn the frick out and had his hands tied together. But he was playing with her for the first half of that fight until she went ahdead.

Brienne is a bad bitch...deal with it.
Posted on 6/16/14 at 9:13 am to CocomoLSU
I think she's a good fighter, but not the best in Westeros. The Hound was dealing with the infection thing, I believe it was mentioned in his previous scene with Arya.
I think Oberyn has been the best fighter we've seen so far, and by a long ways actually.

So Mountain was poisoned by Oberyn...I still call bullshite that people randomly called that without knowing something (books, spoilers, etc.). I'm gonna be a little pissed if Mountain is transformed into some sort of Super Shredder thing. That would kinda suck.
A couple of guys spoiled that in the original thread because it was spoiled in some kind of "behind the scenes" type thing on the episode.

That Byron Bojengles guy spoiled it for me a while back.

HBO releases extras with every episode. It's basically the two television writers discussing each episode. One of the writers mentioned it in passing during the feature after episode 8.
ETA: I don't think it was any more of a spoiler than hen HBO released the season preview with Oberyn and the mountain fighting in a scene.

The captain wasn't taking her anywhere and wasn't swayed when she offered money, or labor. He wanted nothing to do with her until she showed him a coin given to her by someone who he knows to be dangerous as hell. Instant respect was given at the brandishing of said coin. And like Ace pointed out, he said he was sailing to braavos. Not really putting it together how he's got to be a reader to understand all that.

Holy shite. SUPER HODOR

No, it sounds like another poster might just be smarter than you and can figure things out from context clues and doesn't need Arya singing her "I'm going to Braavos" song or wearing her "I'm going to Braavos and all I got was this fricking t-shirt" shirt or having the ship have a sign in big blinking lights on the side saying "this way to Braavos" to realize the ship is going to Braavos.
We really need another thread where no discussion is allowed, so the real HODORS can enjoy the show too. Or, you know, if you think everything's a spoiler, you can always stay out of any thread.
jeez, tough crowd
i just caught up with the entire show in the past couple of months and this is my first thread....and i can see its got plenty of assholes
there was plenty of implication that the ship was going to Braavos. I just thought that the coin could have swayed the captain to fulfill her original request, but I guess that makes me a dumbass
The final scene showed the horizon behind the ship and then in front of the ship, so maybe it was showing that she was leaving westeros and on to something new
i guess i obviously misread it, thanks for kindly pointing it out

It kind of does. Especially when you accuse people of being book readers for using common sense
Posted on 6/16/14 at 9:27 am to wildtigercat93
i didnt accuse anyone of being a book reader
i wasn't even complaining about it, but i came away from the episode thinking it was still open-ended
admittedly a dumbass i guess

fricking Hound getting beat by Brienne? Get the frick out of here, show. No fricking way.
Does no one remember a couple episodes ago Arya saying Hound was moving slow because of the infection?
I knew he would lose that fight the second it began because of that.

I know he's said that before, but I thought after his marriage to Sansa, that was the plan (for them to go to CR and start pumping out some sons). I could be wrong on that though.

I could see that. I can't wait to see Margaery start really seducing Tommen. That actor must go to sleep with constant boners every night waiting for those scenes to start filming.

i watched with some friends last night- i thought bravvos but one of us thought the same thing as you do so i don't think you're retarded.

Wow, really enjoyed that finale.
I'm happy that Tyrion got to wreck shop before splitting town. With Shae, I got the impression that she may have been in league with Tywin from the beginning...Daddy Lannister may have put her out there at that war camp like chum in the water knowing that Tyrion couldn't resist and allowing him to have an insight on his impish activities.
Otherwise, it just doesn't make sense for the whore to be so blind/stubborn when Tyrion was trying to protect her. If Bron really did secretly put her on a ship, she shouldn't have been back for the trial. Even if Tywin just paid her off for false testimony, there was never any indication that the dude was in to whoring around...let alone his imp's sloppy seconds. Just a weird situation/dynamic but happy with how it closed out.
I liked Varys' realization that he was F'd if he stuck around.
Looks like fake maester/necromancer is bumping out Pycelle. Where did that guy come from? Was he the Bolton's "maester?" If so, the guy is the GOT equivalent of a Nazi doctor who has probably done all kinds of nasty experiment on folks. With him pulling out the Mountain's blood, I wonder if he is trying to filter it or replace it with something else. Pycelle is a scumbag, so for him to be tripping so hard over that other dude's methods shows he is a bad dude and/or there are some things even he won't touch and that is surprising with how power hungry he is.
Going to miss Arya and Hound together, they had a great dynamic. I liked Arya's observations of Brien and Hound interacting and then fighting, it looked like she was really up in the air on what to do, but she took to heart the Hound's opinion on Brien being dumb if she thought there was somewhere safe to take Arya...still kinda wish those 4 had teamed up. Oh well, Braavos will be cool. Another name off of the list.
Also, I'm surprised Hound/Arya still didn't enter the Eyrie. Arya still had family connections there and she could have been relatively safe in a land that was unfriendly to the Lannisters. I guess she had no way of knowing Sansa was there.
Jon/Stannis/Mance/Tormund was badass. Looks like Stannis is about to beast out. Mance cares about his people and doesn't want them slaughtered by WW, Stannis, or anyone else. Stannis needs more men...lets make a deal time. If the wildlings join Stannis in his "real battle in the North" he may grant them land or freedom in his kingdom. I'm wondering if that may do away with the need for a Nightswatch and Jon will be released of his oath...will be interesting to see what titty witch will want to do with him.
I don't think that Jon/Stannis, or anyone around really has much of a clue on the Bolton's and their shitty activities, so I don't get the feeling they are turning to fight them right off the bat.
Bran/Children of the Forest are getting pretty cool. Like they said a couple seasons ago, it looks like magic/things not seen for thousands of years are coming back into the world...sorry bout it to those who just want a medieval drama, shits about to get weird. Commence dragon warging and throwing fire missles. My guess is that Bran with Stannis/Jon/titty witch/wildlings rain fire on the walkers while everyone else dicks around and weakens themselves in the south, setting up a big battle for control between the Stannis group and Dany once she stops sucking and decides to invade.
