they were the original inhabitants of Westeros before the First Men. they warred with the First Men and after some time were driven to the North (I think?) where they were forgotten. many people believe they are just a myth (like people didn't believe in the Giants or White Walkers). Ned Stark believed they existed because they worshiped the same gods as the Starks, but thought the Children were extinct.

I stayed away from last week's thread so I don't know the leading theories, and I like it much better that way.
I can only trust that something super fricked up will happen, though I think we may have reached the pinnacle of frickedupedness for the season with the Mountain/Viper episode.

I've prepared myself for Tyrion getting killed, but this preview description:
is interesting. maybe some new information comes to light and they find out that LF/Tyrells were behind Joffrey's death. Tyrion would be let off the hook at that point and they disregard the trial outcome (even though this would cheapen Oberyn's death). then Margery is taken and held ransom or they just kill her. could this happen?

I started this series about a month ago. It was on HBO dish weekend. I DVR'd the first three seasons and the first show of season four. Have watch everything twice. Now thinking I would like to watch season four. Just to cheap to get HBO. I love reading about all the great insights.

Yep, kickass torrents is the one I use. ArmyMan you can go there now and download the 9 episodes from Season 4. Episode 10 would be on there by tomorrow am I am sure
