Sansa brought it in that scene. She is now officially a player.
Yeah, with Sansa, it seems as if we're clearly in the WoW with her. I honestly didn't expect her to behave like this until the final novel.

Why?
Did you miss the point where he made Theon eat out his wife's box? That was incredibly disturbing, especially with being a eunuch.

RIP Oberyn
Did any of y'all notice that Sansa's hair was really dark when she was walking down the steps? She looked so badass..all I could think was, She is going to kill the shite out of LF in WoW. Sansa, in the show, is playing some next level Game of Thrones. We are seeing the badass Sansa that will come in WoW.
I didn't like Arya's laughter, I don't like how slow their storyline has been. She should be on her way to Bravos by now, amirite?

She looked confident and like a woman who knows what she is doing. An early departure and a welcomed one for me.

I still think that will be in ADOS. It just seems so perfect that when LF has it all won, he arrives in Winterfell and finds out that Bran and Rickon are still alive, Jon Snow has risen from the dead and been legitimized as a Stark and a Targaryen King (both of which make Sansa's claim worthless), and that the Others are marching their way to Winterfell to kill them all is just ridiculously satisfying that he knows that there is now no escape and that his plans have ultimately failed. Then have Sansa kill him, know that she outsmarted him, and found a way to survive, and that would be the ultimate way to kill Littlefinger.

I'm starting to view the departures from the books as "fixing" what GRRM should have done from the get-go. He was irresponsible to have so much storyline that didn't go anywhere. And so the David's are fixing it for him in the show. It seems like that've slowed down some arcs and sped up others (like Sansa), who knows the meaning behind it. All I know is that I'm starting to trust them to do it right, or a better way.
Look, GRRM's writing is fine. I'm just complaining about the layout and structure. The show is untangling the knot in ways that George couldn't think. So that's fine by me,

I agree. The one person who he underestimated gets him in the end.

IMO she'll be Alayne to everyone else in the Vale except for Littlefinger, Sweetrobin, Bronze Yohn Royce, the other Lord (forgot his name), and Lady Waynwood.

Just another excuse for HBO to show tittays....sorry guys.
In the case of Missandei I think we can make allowances, she's fantastic.
But yeah, could have done with less bug smashing scene and more Oberyn and Tyrion. Battle was a bit too short, but done well otherwise.

Well said and there have definitely been some awesome changes in the show....Tywin and Arya, anyone?? So much better than creepy arse Roose getting leeched.

Loved that scene. She has been so close and yet so far away.

Yeah, I mean, didn't you get Jon Snow and Jaime's arse, ladytiger? Maybe next season they could give you the pleasure of Tyrion's arse.

Damn that scene was brutal and cringe-worthy (especially the way Oberyn yelled.)
That Fight will forever burn in my memory.

The Jon arse scene was a double and not even him...and we saw Jaime's arse at Harrenhal when he was all dirty and full of infection.
And of course they always show the old and/or unattractive characters...Grand Maester Pycelle doing his stretches in his see through nightgown, anyone?
Speaking of Pycelle, how fricking hilarious was it that Tywin cut off his speech short?? LOLOLOL!

Didn't realize that. Maybe you have been getting the shaft, and not the type you like.

I love it when Pycelle is screwed over. He's competent, but simply horrible.

Yep, this was an awesome change for sure. And the Arya and Hound diversions have been good as well. I liked the speeding up of Sansa's arc tonight as well, as long as she stays as Alayne with everyone besides those three nobles. Her future arranged marriage to Harry the Heir makes more sense with that scene anyway, particularly with her making that connection with Waynwood, as Harry is her ward.
Anyway, one change that I'm hoping to not see is Tormund getting killed in the battle next episode, he needs to live. Even if they haven't done as good a job with his character in the show as the books.

Hey, I've already accepted that there's basically 2 female maesters on here, including myself...I'll take my lumps with pride.
