What are they saving for next season?

If I had to take a guess:

Cersei's complete arc
Jaime in the Riverlands
Tyrion getting to Meereen and joining the Second Sons
Arya in Braavos
Sansa in the Vale
Theon in Winterfell
Jon manning the Wall
Sam getting to Oldtown
Dany with her usual bullshite
Stannis in the North
Davos with Manderly and Skagos

I think they'll just mention the Iron Islands and Dorne in passing, and not delve into it.

they will probably invent a story for her like the "WHERE ARE MY DRAGONS?" arc from season 2

It's been a while since I read the books. Do we get to see Tyrion off his dad on the shitter this season. Looking forward to that.

No, I get whats going to be in next season from the next books. My question was in reference to my list as that is a lot to cover in the next 6 episodes.

Obviously from the titles and IMDB descriptions, we can tell which are which, but some of that (my previous list) isn't making this season.

I think it would be a better idea to just get Tywin's funeral out of the way, so have Tyrion kill him in Episode 9. It should mix in well with the Battle of Castle Black and be the only time tension from the battle itself is relieved. Start off the next episode with Tyrion boarding a ship with Varys telling him "In the end, Lord Tywin Lannister did not shite gold." Then do his funeral the next episode, and start off the next season with Tyrion in Pentos and Cersei offering Kevan to be Hand, and him refusing it.

I guess they'll sneak in the un-Kat reveal sometimes towards the end of this season as well.

My guess:

The Trial - episode 6
Mountain vs Viper - episode 8
Lysa and the Moondoor - episode 7
The attack on the Wall - episode 9
Stannis saving the day - episode 9
Lord Commander Snow - episode 10
Tywin doesn't shite gold - episode 10
Lady Stoneheart - episode 10 (final scene)

I'm more than a little interested in the title of episode 10, "The Children". They often choose titles that can relate to multiple POVs. I can think of a few, but the one that jumps out is the COTF. If they take Bran all the way to the cave this season, do they spend more time in the show with Bran learning from Bloodraven and use that to provide more flashbacks, visions, etc, to fill in the backstory next season?

I can see that happening that way.

I think they need to. Bran can/will be a interesting story line for everyone if they can do this. Him traveling for another season just won't work for TV.

I hope the COTF in the show do their description in the books justice.

I think it may have a double meaning, in that it also refers to Tywin's own children and how much he failed them as a father.

Mountain vs Viper - episode 8

I really was hoping we'd get some really bad behavior from the Mountain in the first part of this season to up the impact of the fight. I think I'd have rathered see that than the Nights Watch deserter drinking wind from Mormont's skull and chewing up scenery. But maybe they couldn't find an actor for the Mountain who was both huge and imposing and could act well enough?

I agree with that as well. Definitely relating to Tyrion, Jaime, and Cersei as well as the Children of the Forest. Not sure who else the title could refer to...the remaining Stark children??

Was thinking that as well, which is why I moved my guess for Tywin/Tyrion from episode 9 to 10, although it still wouldn't shock me to see it happen in ep 9.

I'm guessing in Merreen Drogon eats children.

You may be right. But I was speaking strictly from what the books have revealed to us so far. Not speculation on what may be a twist in future books that haven't been written yet
