agreed, how long till we see a weakness exposed? (that one dragon already showed her who's boss..kinda).. And how long does it take to get to kl.. with the way things are setting up, I have to wonder if she ever makes it

I'm probably never going to get my wish but with all the talk about the blood of dragons in her I'm actually hoping there's a possibility that Daenys herself can (with the aid of magic) learn to turn into a dragon.

It's crazy the effect one actor can have. I hated the old Dario Naharis with a burning passion but I like the new one.

I just realized tonight that Dario was replaced. I had noticed the guy from Treme before and thought he was a new character.

Tonight's episode was great, but they go so quickly. I hope Cersei dies soon enough

The interesting thing will be how the dragons get used down the line, particularly as they get bigger. We haven't seen them injured yet, so we don't know their vulnerabilities.

They should prove quite effective against wooden ships on the water, and in the open field - but not nearly as much during a city/castle siege, which pacifying Westeros is going to require a bunch of.

Can someone explain under what circumstances would Littlefinger ever be king?

Um... have you completely forgotten Harrenhal? The dragons killed everyone in the place by MELTING frickING STONE. Also, walled cities don't really mean much when you have airborne fiery reptilian death at your disposal.

Good episode....Just wishee they would have let Dany sack the city before ending tonights episode.

Is Littlefinger involved in the plot? He had to be to knot to send "The Fool" into the city to get Sansa...how would he know otherwise of an opportune time to get Sansa out of Kings Landing? If its Littlefish, then he might already have the backing of the Bank of Braavos. Littlefinger crushing the necklace make me think Joffrey was poisoned some other way. Doesnt seem now that one of the crystals was used in the killing.

Little disturbed by the Jamie and Cersei sex scene...I think its going to come out that someone saw them getting their incest on next to Joffrey's corpse.

Just like I thought, Tywin is already moldeing Tommen into the King he wanted Joffrey to be. Tywin is going to be King by proxy now, until he comes of age. Doesnt seem like Tywin was in on the killing, but you never know. Joffrey was his grandson, but it doesnt seem like he is shedding any tears over his death.

Prince Oberyn is gonna screw Tywin during the trial for Tyrion...... Know way he goes thru with his deal to partner up with the Lannisters and convict Tyrion. He hates the Lannisters...dont see him putting that hate aside to work with them just to be a kings advisor.

I found it odd that they went with Jaime raping Cersei. It seemed like they built up a lot of goodwill with him to go with that.

IGN's review said George RR was like "oh you like Jamie now? How about now?"

Those are good points, but, Dany only has 3 - I always imagine huge flights of dragons, perhaps hundreds during the peak of the Targaryean era. Certainly they can fly over and rain fire down (we've already seen Dany's dragons do some of that as youngsters) - but, again, how vulnerable to counter attack are they?

And we're already seeing some reluctance in Dany to risk her critical combat power (a common failing in a commander who over-identifies with his/her troops) - let's assume one of the dragons gets hurt/killed before they even cross - is she going to be more reluctant to risk the other 2?

Although she appears to be able to play the liberator for now, she will not be able to do so in Westeros, where there are not nearly the large slave populations to incite to revolt. She may be able to count on some residual Targaryean loyalty, but she will have a much tougher fight in the more defensible terrain of Westeros.

i don't support rape or anything, but cersei has spoke early and often about the power of her pussy, so in terms of real v. perceive power, it was kind of a telling comment. funny to parallel that with the "real power" speech she gave to littlefinder earlier in the series

To be fair, was anyone really upset that he raped that bitch? I kind of enjoyed it

Depends on age and size, I guess. Only Balerion is mentioned as burning Harrenhall - so, maybe 1 big, bad, black dragon (Drogon?) will be enough - if he lives long enough.
