Anyway, I thought it was an excellent episode overall, but disappointed by no Tysha mention and no LSH is disappointing. Moving LSH to next season will be fine though. Leaving her out entirely will piss me off.
I don't see it happening though, they need her for Brienne's arc.

Things I did not like about the finale...
- gay arse pirates of the Caribbean skeletons popping out of the snow
- gandalf the grey living in a tree that looks smaller from the outside
- Tyrion's path to the hand's chambers
- fricking Dany
- Mance looks like Chyna from WWE
- LSH being written off the show

Just finished up. I'm glad they didn't end with any Dany bullshite. They got it over with early. I loved the Hound/Brienne fight and I'm glad they added it. Really well done.
But seriously. No LSH is a travesty. That was the boom to end all booms.

right
i guess this ending was better than dany crowd surfing, but it was meh for me. I'm all for D&D cutting/streamlining the non-interesting & bare material, but when they have good stuff that would be a home run on the screen then they should fricking run with it.

Damn guys, one of the reasons that the books are so good is that GRRM was willing to go with the realistic stuff over the everything will get along just dandy after we completely overthrow an entrenched society.
I think it was very important, as I mentioned with starting the season with breaking chains and ending it with putting them back on, that this dynamic be introduced for what goes down in Mereen next season.
GRRM is an average wordsmith, but damn, he has brilliant characterization skills and is great with a story.

On the show yes, but I think it does confirm that the blood of Jojen WAS in the paste in the book.
The theory: THE COTF give Bran a pasty substance that he has to eat to truly "see" all there is. In the book, the description makes it very equivocal if it is just mashed up weirwood roots or if the blood red streaks are actually blood.
