He's easily the most despised poster on the Soccer Board.

I do know more than I should because of spoilers I've heard in a couple of different places (I know what happens but now how or why), but I avoid those topics when they are discussed.

But according to the non-reader creed your knowledge is now tainted and you can no longer have an unbiased discussion regarding things on the show as a result of knowing what will happen. What's good for the goose is good for the gander right?

^ Found that while digging around. I'm not sure what exactly to make of it, but assuming he's telling the truth right there it's still not a stretch to say he's peeked in those books before. I mean I don't see how someone could restrain themselves from doing so after buying the books.

alot of people buy 5 $20 books just to keep on their shelf as a conversation piece for the HBO show

I can only imagine the shite storm if the non-reader thread devolves into the Salem Witch Trials. An entertaining shite storm, it would be though.

I'm only lurking there. Will not post. It is going to be so entertaining with the RW coming it will be difficult to keep my knightly vow.

True although I feel bad selling out fellow readers in hiding but as a member of the brotherhood without comprehension I feel it our duty to stop potential turn cloaks and quiet fiesty readers and maintain peace and spoiler free balance for all

Since you love "knowledge" so much, if any one of you comes into the thread to antagonize the non-readers, the day the next book is released, I'm going to read it immediately and come hunting for you wherever you are, flash-spoiling it for you. The OT. More Sports Board. SEC Rant. It doesn't matter, and I'll wait as many years as I have to.

This thread has gotten him wanting the book on day ONE and to read it. Accusations work!

Poor blueboy admitting to knowing more than just the show. On the list he remains. :oneofus:

I would love for them to bring out Grey Wind's head on a covered platter and have Robb take the cover off and just recoil in horror. He looks at Catelyn, who just felt Frey's chainmail and slaps him, runs for her, and gets owned. Would love for the penultimate scene to be them raising Robb's corpse with Grey Wind's head attached by a noose in the hall.

I hope they make it as brutal as possible to really make the non-reader people despise the Freys and Boltons. I'd also like to see the loyal northman put up resistance or something. You figure they can't kill all 18,000 northmen or whatever Robb has with him. He only had 3,500 in the books.

Don't the Karstarks kill the Lannisters next episode?

I doubt they show the FrankenRobb, although that would be a pretty powerful image. I remember holding out hope that Grey Wind got away injured only to hear his fate a couple chapters later.

So when Mel comes looking for Gendry, do Thoros and Beric give him up or do they send her after someone else (Hot Pie I'm thinking) telling her that is Robert's bastard instead?

I actually meant to respond to this this morning. The flames ain't pointing her to hot pie. She will know its Gen dry who she wants. This will be an interesting subplot since book readers are clueless
