Game of Thrones questions...spoilers

I know it's going to take a while before season 7, but I have a ton of questions about how they will tie things up.
1. What exactly do you think Sam will find at the Citadel that will help Jon Snow battle the white walkers? That has to be the reason he is there right?
2. Will Gendry have any impact on the story line or will he just keep rowing out to sea?
3. At what point does Bran meet up with Jon and Sansa? How does he break the news to Jon that he is a Targeryn? And how do they get everyone else to believe it? I just can't see Dani taking his word.
4. What happens with Cersei? I just don't see her dying in season 7. I kind of hope she escapes and joins up with the whites.
5. Euron Greyjoy. Does he make it to Kings Landing before Dani? Joins forces with Cersei.
6. How does the whites get past the wall?
It just doesn't seem like they will be able to conclude the series in only two seasons. It would have been great if George R. Martin could have finished the book series. It might be another 10 years before he finishes the last book.

if only we had a thread for this

1. I'm guessing he'll find out how to make dragon glass and valerian steel
2. I think he'll comeback and Dany will legitimize him after she takes the throne
3. Probably early on, doubt Jon will be there though
4. Cersi has completely fricked herself. If she tried to fight she'll be crushed. I could see her trying to destroy King's Landing before the war ends
5. I see him making a deal with Cersei to take on Dany
6. Bran has the mark and he's going to pass through the wall destroying the magic keep out the White Walkers

Yeah, this is Cersei's final season. She has nothing but a title. All save for Qyburn and Robert Strong will betray her in a single second. She has two people vs literally the entire world. She'll absolutely be killed.

I think the wall falls before the show is over.

There's a supposed season 7 leak that answers all these questions. Google it if you dare. May be BS. Seems pretty legit though

The set leaks seem to be proving that the spoiler leaks are legit. I could answer the OP's questions based on the spoilers, but since there's no spoiler tag in the OP's subject line, I'm not touching his questions with a 10 foot pole.

Nice. I liked what I read.
Minus one cringey part that I hope was fake

Yeah, I think I know what part you are talking about. It wouldn't shock me if the two "pieces" of that part happen, but hopefully they don't happen at the same time like the spoiler made it sound like they did.

quote:In the book, the maesters guild seems to want to kill all of the dragons so they can get rid of magic and usher in a more academic, progressed world. They apparently had killed the previous dragons. Sam may get in on this, or he may find a way to help Jon, or both. We have yet to see the "glass candles," which are like the seeing stones in LOTR. They enable those who have them to communicate with each other, across very long distances, kind of like skype for LARP figs. Maybe we'll see them at some point, but I hope not. It seems like such a convenient plot device.

quote:Meera's father knows, so I expect he will show up and verify it at some point.

quote:The prophesy has her being "choked" to death by what is vaguely called "the little brother (or sister)." There are many theories as to who this is (Tyrion, Jaime, Arya, etc.) and what form the choking will take, if it's not literal.
4. What happens with Cersei? I just don't see her dying in season 7. I kind of hope she escapes and joins up with the whites.

You do realize he is asking about the show, not the books, right? I don't think any of what you just provided will play a roll on the show.

The maesters wanting to kill the dragons may very well play into the show, and I'm absolutely positive that Reed's knowledge of Jon's birth will be a factor in the show, as he's already been featured and identified by Bran in the ToJ scene.
The prophesy was already in the show, as was the mention of the valonquar.
Pretty much everything I said has been or will be in the show.
They might skip the glass candles. I'll throw you that one.

We don't even know if Howland Reed is alive at this point on the show other than his children didn't say he was dead. I guess he could pop up at some point, but he wouldn't be able to convince anyone with his testimony alone. Something else will happen that will prove it to most everyone. Reed might show up to confirm it, or to be an eye witness to back up the story. But there will be something (or multiple things) that happens that convinces everyone. But I'll give you this one in that there is a chance that Howland could show up at some point.
And on the show, the valonqar isn't mentioned. All that Maggie the Frog says after Cersei asks if she will be queen is "Oh yes, you'll be queen...for a time. Then comes another, younger more beautiful to cast you down, and take all you hold dear." Then she goes on to tell about her children's deaths. But she says nothing of the valonqar killing her.

quote:Yeah, Reed is definitely going to show up. They wouldn't have bothered to put him in the ToJ scene and have Bran say "say, isn't that Howland Reed" just so we know who killed Dayne. Bran can say that he saw the vision, but many will not believe that alone. Reed will have to verify it. Then, people will know it's true.

quote:My mistake if it's not, but I don't think her death will depart too much if at all from whatever is planned in the theoretically forthcoming books.

I don't think that Howland will be the only person that will be able to back up at least some of Bran's story, and I'll leave it at that. I think the whole purpose of Howland being brought up in Bran's vision of the TOJ was to prove to Bran that the history he thought was true, really wasn't. But again, Howland could always show up, I just don't see it happening on the show.
And while I agree that the person that ends up killing Cersei could be the same in the book and show, I think if it is it'll happen differently, especially since I'm not sure GRRM has even got all of that figured out. He may know who, but I doubt he really knows how he will play it out. But the show has definitely not stressed the foreshadowing of her death like it does in the books.
And I definitely don't think the show will touch on the Maesters' plot against dragons. There just isn't enough time to throw that storyline in for the show. I think Sam will be learning all he can about Valyrian steel (which is where Gendry could come into play later on).

Tyrion or Jamie will probably take Cersei out. I also think the maid helped deliver Jon might show up.

The answer is nothing. They'll build up all these storylines and then once they've built up the intrigue they'll just kill the characters without resolution. It happened in the citadel and I feel it's gonna happen more now since all the idiots thought that was so cool.
They're going full-on Lost mode.
