All I have to say is fool me one shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

No Dan and Dave, and GRR Martin is like the co-producer for the show, I think we will be more than fine. GOT started suxing when George stopped breast feeding Dan and Dave.

So we will get half way into a good show then GRRM will produce his way into a complex corner not knowing what to do next. Then the bastard will travel the world eating pizza and going to fantasy shows before introducing his next pre-prequel. It takes place 1,000 years before new prequel so he can start fresh.

i had too many expectations for the GoT story going in. With this, I'll have no expectations other than the large "historical" events so I think this will end up being much better.

GOT may be the only show that i think it would be worthwhile to reshoot the ending...because it was that shitty...and people would watch.

The books are going no where that is why it has been almost 20 years since A Storm of Swords was published.

Also Ty Franck stopped being GRRM personal assistant to write the Expanse series with Daniel Abraham

Ryan Condal (Colony) is the showrunner along with battle-tested GoT veteran Miguel Sapochnik (who helmed episodes such as "The Battle of the Bastards" and "The Winds of Winter"). Sapochnik will also direct the pilot and additional episodes.

If Sapochnik directs all the episodes, it may very well be worth watching.

Yep, which is incredible to think

I probably did 5 rewatches throughout the entire series. Rewatched every finale a day or 2 after it aired

After the series finale, I haven’t consumed a second of GOT. It’s pretty remarkable

Has there ever been a prequel of anything that was good? Knowing what happens in the future, even the distant future, automatically lowers the stakes.
