There are a few moments though.

Okay - page 14 of the Hodor thread is getting good.

"Who is the dark haired girl with Bran?" I get they have no idea about Leaf, but wow. Some think she and Jojen are wildlings. Fantastic.

I can see how it happens.

I watched 5 seasons in about 3 weeks, so there is a lot I forget.

There are whole chapters that make no sense if this is true, though. No sense at all.

I didn't think it about much, except when Cersei/Ser Strong had the face off with Tommen's men. (And they weren't Kingsguard or Gold Cloaks - just Lannister men, I suppose.)

I mean, after creating Frankenmountain, Qyburn kind of acts as part maester - part master of whispers. I think he prefers staying in the shadows.

The reason I bring it up is that someone mentioned the great Dornish master plan getting the axe in the show. But a popular theory has him central to it. So they gonna kill Qyburn or what?

I hope not, I like that dude.

pretty much only thing that book readers know about is the Iron Islands stuff

Actually we still have the Oldtown stuff, the Riverlands, & Arya and the mummers on top of the Kingsmoot that you mentioned. So there is still some book storylines (or parts of them anyways) that are upcoming on the show.

there can't be a dornish master plan now, but the fact that aegon isn't in the show pretty much sealed that theory (for the show)

adding another targ in essos (esp one with an army) would blow the goddamn minds of the hodors

The show's Dornish "master plan" has apparently been to frick up anything of significance in Dorne. Mission accomplished, D&D.

Admittedly, it is not a huge hurdle to clear.

yeah. D/D = Sgt Marimo

GRRM was like "i don't know what to do with Dorne" and they send in the cleaner

no, it's not, but could you imagine the reactions? you kind of have to set that up a bit, even with clues

having another targ show up, WITH an army, out of NOWHERE? that would be cheap

Is there some achievement for reading books of which I am unaware?

Well, it is an accomplishment worthy of bragging. Just the willingness to read all those terrible Dany chapters shows a single-minded dedication that many lack.

Seriously, though, the pure Hodors - those in the Hodor thread are frightened by knowledge, like a caveman fears the sun.

I get where you are coming from now.

I watch the show for entertainment. I don't need to dig into the detail and plot out a map of the kingdoms to enjoy it. Same with LOTR. Some people are into that stuff I know. Just not my thing.

Some have this air of superiority because they read the books and ARE into that sort of thing.

I've read a lot of tax law. Doesn't make me superior because of it.

So what are self aware non-readers called? Onion Knights?

Kingsmoot-

Is it closer to a presidential convention or a battle royal?

Can any iron born "run" or only certain families?

Can any iron born vote if there is voting?

Convention, everyone brings treasure and promises and whoever gets the most yells wins.

Gotta be the head of a house, penis isn't required but preferred.

Just cool pirate yelling if it's a clear consensus. No clue what the second round might look like if it's less clear.

At this point, any non-reader who has watched the "History and Lore" stuff from the blu-rays (all on Youtube) and has spent any amount of time googling shite from the show should more or less be on the same level as book readers for the purposes of the show. If after all that you havent thought about R+L=J or the like you're just a dense frick, its not a "spoiler" at this point

those are the Comatose Khal Drogo's. All they do is watch the show, and don't give it another thought until next Sunday. They never rewatch the episode, they never search for more info, nothing. They just post the dumbest questions on the Hodor thread like, "remind me who Bran is".
