Is it weird that I'm one of the bigger fantasy fans on this board, yet couldnt get into GoT. Neither the books, nor the show.

I tried starting his books, even bought one. His writing style didnt draw me in. Which I'm kinda happy with since he will never finish the series apparently.
I'll probably give the show a better shot when I have a better way to access to it.
