Man, they just slaughtered Shermans by the dozens, there was nothing they could do.
Getting the M36 in the fall of 44, helped even the odds a bit.

The rumor is that Brad Pitt is like that all the time, that he doesn't take showers or use deodorant or colognes.
That's McConaughey I think...anyhow, this movie looks awesome and I know a lot of people on here dislike Shia but I thigh he has been good in some roles and this one might be a good fit for him

Upset that this is neither Nick Fury and his Howling Commandos nor Jeb Stuart and the Haunted Tank.
I'll just have to imagine a Confederate flag flying over that Sherman Tank.

The Wolverines could penetrate a Tiger, so they helped out a lot.
The advantage with the Sherman was that it was so much quicker than the Tigers. They could flank the Tiger and hit it in the side, where the armor was much thinner. Our philosophy for armored warfare was just so different than Germany's.
Germany just couldn't build enough Tigers. The world might look a lot different today if Rommel had them in 1941, provided he could keep them fueled.

The war was lost when germany lost the skies.

Why yes. He looks like a French waiter that's just come from a sexual encounter with a man.

Pheromones. It's what brings the women in.

Man, Pitt is starting to look old.

Is the new tank driver the main character from Perks of Being a Wallflower? That guy was made for these submissive, pacifist roles.

Sweet, another war movie with a character that's scared shitless and is a pussy.

Rommel wouldn't have needed them nor would he have wanted them in 1941. The Tiger was more of a defensive weapon and was the perfect weapon for the Germany Army of 1944. In 1941, however, the Germans were using lighter and faster tanks because they were on the offensive.
