I was watching This is 40 the other day. It dawned on me John Lithgow plays Leslie Mann's dad in the Movie. In Orange County Leslie Mann plays John Lithgow's wife.

It had me thinking what are some other odd actor to actor relationship changes?

Seth Rogan is best friends with James Franco in all his movies and real life until it becomes inconvenient that he helped Franco hit on underage women and then immediately threw him under the bus. Great friend Seth Rogan is, and I’m really looking forward to the mob consuming him specifically.

On the Golden Girls, Bea Arthur was older than Estelle Getty who played her mother.

Any of John Wayne's female costars are too young. It feels like John Wayne is old enough to be the father of the women he got paired up with in the 50's, 60's and 70's.

He's the Wooderson of Hollywood because he got older but his love interests stayed the same age!

He was born in 1907.

1952 The Quit Man
Love interest: Maureen O'Hara born in 1920.

1953 Trouble Along the Way (He's a single dad football coach)
Love interest: Donna Reed born in 1921.

1959 Rio Bravo
Love interest: Angie Dickinson born in 1931.

1960 North to Alaska Wayne and Stewart Granger, born in 1913, compete for her.
Love interest: Capucine born in 1928.

1962 The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance Wayne and Jimmy Stewart born in 1908, compete for
Love interest: Vera Miles born in 1929.

1963 Donovan's Reef
Love interest: Elizabeth Allen born in 1929.

1965 In Harm's Way
Love interest: Patricia Neal born in 1926.

1966 El Dorado
Love interest: Charlene Holt born in 1938.

1976 The Shootist
Love interest: Lauren Bacall born in 1924.

Happens all the time in Hollywood with their star male actors getting paired up with much younger women.

I've always wanted Claire to tell Brian that he looks a lot like the kid she once loaned her panties to when she was 16.

Gary Cooper

High Noon...he was born in 1901...Grace Kelly was born in 1929.

Love in the Afternoon... He was born in 1901, Audrey Hepburn was born in 1929.

Gary Cooper loved that almost 30 year age difference in movies.

I mean c'mon man. Gary Cooper's scripts must've been written by Nabokov.

This cracked me up in the first “Ghost Rider” movie. The characters were in love as teens, and then years later one is 43-year old Nic Cage, and the other is 33-year old Eva Mendes.

Even happens with siblings like in “Gone Girl.” Ben Affleck is 9 years older than Carrie Coon, who played his twin sister in the movie.

Always thought Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn had great chemistry.

Wedding Crashers and the Internship were some of the best in that group.
