My only problem is the Daniel Dae Kim And Ken Leung from Lost seem like super nice people so it’s going to be hard watching them be assholes again

That’s at least a season or two down the line though, and Kiawentiio is 15 and Katara’s age in the animated show is 14. It won’t be creepy when it happens. They did fine here.

I’m hoping next season they bring in Yunjin Kim as Zuko’s mother first off because it’d again be perfect casting but also for the LOST call back.

Yea they've really nailed a ton of this. Some I have no idea what kind of actors they are, but they definitely will look the part.
Zhao i'm a little unsure of. Not that I don't think the guy is a good actor, he definitely is. It is just such a different character than i'd ever think of him playing. Jason Isaacs just has such a commanding voice in that role, I don't know how well he will be able to bring that same presence to the character.
Then again, he is a good actor and when people get out of their typecast roles, they can do some great things.

Fun fact: Zhao is actually based on Tavington from the Patriot and they actually wanted someone like Jason Issacs to perform the role. The casting director actually managed to get the real thing much to Mike and Bryan's disbelief.

By the way I’m guessing they wanted this image since I’m guessing Gordon will probably be 16 before Aang faces Ozai thus conflicting with the animated series, but I think think they probably shot some pics if Aang faced off with Ozai at his age in the animated series. Would definitely be how it would look minus the bending:
