It shows I don't watch much TV, but I finally start watching the Friday Night Lights Series on Netflix and I love the series. Currently on Season 4 where East Dillion forfeited their first game. The storyline is great imo. Reminds me soo much of small town football in Louisiana especially my old team. Kyle Chander actually reminded me of my dad who was a coach with his coaching style. Buddy Garrity reminded me of our big boosters and our town also had a pos with McCoy.

Who were your favorite players?

I think they all were good. I personally liked Smash Williams, Riggins(reminds of myself in high school ), and Matt Sorenson. Sorenson reminded me alot of my high school QB. Was undersized, but had a big heart. Overall a great show. My dad loved it too watched every week til his passing in 2008.

yeah, great series imo, too bad it didn't last longer, but the ex fullback can't think of his name right now for some reason was my favorite character.

I am in the middle of the 5th season. Big fan of the show. There are a few silly storylines and somes stretches in logic here and there, but I still really enjoy it.

The football scenes can be pretty unrealistic as well.

Tim Riggins. I just don't think it got the ratings in the major markets like NY and L.A. Sucks b/c the writers and the producers did a great job even filmed the show in Texas and didn't try to pull it off in California in place that looks like Texas ie Oxnard or Fresno. They can relate better to Law and Order which is my favorite running show on TV besides The Office

It did not do well because it aired on FRIDAY NIGHTS - The worst night in TV for ratings... If this show was promoted properly and played on a Wednesday night it would have been an amazing ride.

Great show. One of my all time favorite shows ever.

Great show. Not sure who my favorite player is. They all had their moments. Probably overall - Riggins.

On another note, I want Julie Taylor.

That girl is so fricking hot but Coach Taylor would cut my balls off so she is off limits.

Writers didn't think they would be back for a season 2, so they tried to spice it up and get soapy. Their choice was to make Lance kill a guy and then try to cover it up. We all know the frontman of Crucifictorious is not that dumb.

Lyla Garrity was the obvious choice in Dillion, but it'd definitely be Julie Taylor for me. So damn sexy.

It didn't start on Friday nights and didn't do well in its time-slot. I love FNL but it was always a ratings loser and it was amazing that it got 5 seasons.

How much better would the show have been with Rachel Bilson in this role rather than Minka Kelly?
