Fox is reportedly developing a sequel to The Simpsons Movie, a Bob's Burgers film, and an animation/live-action Family Guy film.

From The Wall Street Journal, Fox Chief Executive Stacey Snider has "emphasized a revamp of Fox's approach to animation, bringing in a new partner to replace an expired deal with DreamWorks Animation after it was acquired by Comcast Corp."

I'm guessing The Simpson's movie would be the show's finale.

There's only one choice for Peter Griffin

Huh. Maybe it’d be like the Spongebob movie which had a few live action scenes but was mostly animated.

Realest of real talk about Bob’s Burgers:

It runs extremely hot and cold. When it is good, it is very good, and when it’s bad, it’s really really bad. There really is no middle ground with this show. That’s why the prospect of a Bob’s Burgers movie does nothing for me.

The first Simpsons movie was legit. Wife and I still quote it.

I dearly love the smaller, more normal episodes of Bob's Burgers (Season 1, especially) so I would almost certainly be disappointed in whatever 97 minute gigantic musical extravaganza they would come up with.

No thanks. And I'm a big Family Guy fan. I don't even want/need an animated FG movie.

Family Guy live action? Doesn’t sound like it would be good. Leave the cartoon absurdity aspect alone.

While I don't disagree with you on the hot vs cold nature of Bob's Burgers I think it might work in favor of the movie being amazing. I fully trust the writers if they focus on a 90ish minute movie.

I’d rather see a family guy the last Jedi.

I’ve felt since the Simpsons movie success that a sequel would be a perfect series finale opportunity

This I could get behind. Prequels too for that matter. They could have some fun with all those:

This makes no sense.

It will either be really good or really bad, right?

I personally disagree, I think it’s remarkably consistent. I can’t recall ever watching an episode of Bobs Burgers and thinking it sucked. South Park at its best is better, but there are a lot of really bad episodes. Probably has to do with the making it the week of airing aspect.

I love Family Guy. I’ve seen almost every episode at least 6 times. I agree, definitely do not want any live action, unless they do it like the spongebob movie and use real actors doing cameos, but no “live action Peter Griffin”. Live action Peter Griffin would be awful

I would watch a Family guy animated movie, but I feel Family Guy isn’t made for that because they rarely hold a single plot idea for an entire episode, much less a 2 hour movie
