This was a great flick and I still remember the scene with the guy killed in the elevator.
Just randomly remembered it out of the blue so I think I'm going for a rewatch tonight!

Forgotten? Not sure about that, Kevin Costner couldn't have been stiffer but Connery and Garcia carried him.

I found DeNiro to be pretty mediocre in this one as well.

DeNiro acted like he wanted to be 90s Al Pacino.

love this movie. agree that Costner and De Niro are not at their best in this one, but Connery is fantastic and the movie is a lot of fun.

Not really a fan. Plus it is incredibly historically inaccurate.

Not just the cast but directed by Brian De Palma and written by David Mamet so yeah I wouldn't call it forgotten.

Don’t forget the score by Ennio Morricone
Not forgotten by me and my group, we quote it often, definitely under rated imo

I am literally the biggest David Mamet fan in the world...but this movie is fricking terrible.

What are you prepared to do about it?

It was largely based on the television series and didn't really try to come off as being historically accurate. Good movie.

quote:For sure. In fact, I remember younger folks rhapsodizing about this for years, but I didn't get to see it until I was well over 30. It's just...bad.
