Underbelly on Amazon Prime. Australian crime series based on true stories about drug dealing and lots of killing. Season 1-3 are good.

Comrade Detective - Romanian production - English dubbed in

Just finished Generation War and loved it. I liked Comrade Detective but I couldn't get the subtitles to work after the first episode

Ghosts from BBC is funny. CBS is going to try and reboot it on an American basis, but it's going to be lame AF, I guarantee it.

OG Ghosts is on HBO Max

I was listening to the Jeff Garlin interview on Tim Dillon’s show yesterday, and he mentioned this show as one whose fans would like Curb. Is it similar to Curb? If so, I’m in.

No, not really. I think the connection would be that smart people like both? Sort of like the difference between people that like Arrested Development over Two Broke Girls.

This is actually the first episode on YouTube, A Touch of Class.

I don't think I've ever laughed as hard as I did the first time I saw this scene as a kid back when it was playing on PBS in the 70's.

If you like British comedy, especially stuff from Monty Python, you'll love Fawlty Towers.

I just finished Rake (5 season Australian show) and liked it. Richard Roxburgh is excellent in the title role. It gets a little contrived by the end, but is pretty good overall.

It really is. Derby Girls on Netflix and McMafia on BBC One.

I like some of the old-school British comedies.

"Fawlty Towers" was a great show. Too bad they only made a dozen or so episodes of it.

"Absolutely Fabulous" is also a very funny British comedy.

"Are You Being Served" was one of my favorites when it was being shown on PBS every week.

Another funny one is "Keeping Up Appearances" with the lady of the house being such a pretentious woman that it is comedic gold. Her last name is spelled "Bucket" but she pronounces it like "Bouquet". Her brother-in-law, Onslo is funny as hell as the common man who has absolutely not a single pretentious bone in his body.
