I’m a fan of horror movies and have seen a lot of the classic ones. What are some of your favorites? Any that flew under the radar (feel a lot of horror flies under the radar except for a few) ?

I've watched tons of horror movies. The only one that really affected me in any way was "The Ring" (mainly because I'm a horse nut). My husband swears something grabbed his hand from under the bed the night we watched that movie for the first time (we rented it, didn't see it at the theater).

Since it's the one that has gotten the most reaction from me ever, I guess that makes it my "favorite". But I love "Cabin in the Woods" as a fun movie.

I feel 2, 3 and 5 are underrated. Especially 5, but I liked roy burns and its more of a friday film than 9 is.

It's been 40 years since I saw it (alone, late at night), but "Rabid" (with Marilyn Chambers...yes, her) creeped me out as a teenager.

The Omen
Silence of the Lambs

Tourist trap with Chuck Conners scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. Also the tv series werewolf. Chuck conners played the best evil werewolf.

I like 2 and 3, but I hate 5. I pretend it doesn't exist, same as 8, X, and the reboots. 9 has its moments and had so much potential. It was such a mess, though.

Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Scream. The originals specifically.

Horror was just better back when there was coherent story and terror, not just jump scares.

Dr. Sleep

Mike Flanagan series on Netflix are great.
