The one thing I'll say about Hidden Temple was that some of the last segment was pure luck. Like when you had to do something like pick one of three doors and there was a warrior dude behind one or two of them...that's not being bad at the game, it's just having shitty luck.

Other than that angle, I'd have dominated. Especially at shite like Double Dare. Okay, here...slide down this slide and grab this flag...run in this hampster wheel for three seconds and grab this flag. Etc. That shite was mind-bogglingly simple.

There was one kid on Hidden Temple that dropped part of the silver monkey puzzle and some assistant throws it back up to him

And another kid that got scared of the temple guard and ran out of e temple through the front and got disqualified.

Anyone remember the prizes they had for the kids who got through each round on Figure It Out? And that black guy who read them out. He was the bomb dot com.

Yea, some of the kids on those shows were just idiotic imo. I'm fairly confident that I would have done very well on Legends of the Hidden Temple and Double Dare, my favorites of the bunch.

How fricking hard is it to grab a flag or put together a puzzle, seriously.

I remember a few times on Double Dare during the finale the kid got stuck looking for a flag in that big nose. The ones where they couldn't even get past the first or second obstacle had me raging and laughing at the same time.

I kinda remember Guts but I'm drawing a blank on the other ones.

I remember that show! They ran through a freakin maze, wearing velcro vests and and helmets and just cramming game cartridges everywhere! The finish line was sliding down a slide with a shite ton of games! What's the name of that show!?

I don't know, but I remember that too!

Also, on Double Dare there was another obstacle other than the nose picker that seemed to hold people up a lot. I think it was either a huge piece of pizza? kids took forever to find the flag!

My girls loved Legends of the Hidden Temple.

Educational, and entertaining.

I know it wasn't Nick, but I always liked Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego.

That part at the end where they had to put those lighted poles on the map was tough!

Funhouse was almost exactly like double dare if I am thinking of the same show. It came on Fox.

1a and 1b the rest dont even matter. i like global guts better when it was olympic style country versus country i always believed i could take everyone on that game and take my piece of the crag.

i think legends of the hidden temple was one of the greatest game shows ever made. silver snakes FTMFW

Global guts was awesome. The UK ended up kicking the US arse which sucked. I know for a fact I would have wrecked shop on there and brought a piece of the crag home for America.

Hidden temple was definitely an awesome show. My favorite team was the blue barracudas though.

I liked the precursor to the hidden temple that took place in the house with all the different kinds of rooms. Then Hidden Temple came along with the same idea but with ropes and tribesman and made it even more entertaining.

this thread is $$. 80-90's nickelodeon was awesome. its hard for me to choose. double dare was the tits and i always wanted to nail that chick on guts. but, i'd have to go with finders keepers.

would be nice to have the aggro crag sitting on my bookshelf or mantel though. remote control on mtv always seemed like a hoot
