I wanted to be on What Would You Do? and ride the Pie Coaster. That thing looked awesome.

Not a Nickelodeon show, but I always wanted to play the "Grand Prize Game" on the Bozo the Clown Show on WGN. Wasn't that the game where you tossed ping pong balls into the 6 buckets, and there was a $50 bill in the last bucket?

Wanted to play that one too. I would have owned it.

there was also a cool show on Nick before those other ones (late 80s) called finders keepers where they had to find something in a room (the set was about 8 rooms in a house) so they had to just dig through a ton of shite in 60 seconds to find it...it was pretty cool

But of that List DD by a mile...I was before all those other ones.

I loved Finders Keepers. I grew up poor, so I played that game a lot at my relatives house.

there was another kids video game show that would come on weekday afternoons as well...at the end the winner would literally get to run through an entire house filed with games on the walls like at toys r us and take whatever the hell they wanted and if they found a certain game they'd get a neo geo which was like 500 bucks at the time

I remember that show! They ran through a freakin maze, wearing velcro vests and and helmets and just cramming game cartridges everywhere! The finish line was sliding down a slide with a shite ton of games! What's the name of that show!?

There is not a single gameshow on Nickelodeon that I wouldn't have bitchslapped when I was a kid. Especially shite like Guts. I always hated watching shows like Guts and Hidden Temple because they always seemed to try to choose the least athletic kids possible to compete. It's like choosing a 9 year old girl to shoot a full court shot for a prize at halftime of a bball game.

Also, apparently that toy show was The Nickelodeon Super Toy Run.

Here is a video clip. Dude bags almost $10,000 worth of shite.

That kid went off. He is definitely the best I have seen. Looks like he had the reebok pumps shoes or some LA gears on in that video also

Good find.

Most of the time when I watched it, seemed like these kids did awful. I bet that kid was like me and strategizing while watching every one of these game shows as a kid.

You are definitely right about them choosing some horribly Unathletic kids to compete. In global guts, the foreigners always seemed more athletic than the American kids.

That's why I was asking earlier if anyone knew how they chose these kids on these shows. Some people on double dare had no business even being in the audience.

ETA: I remember the UK kicked arse in global guts.

I used to get so pissed watching legend of the hidden temple. They always picked the slowest kids that couldn't figure out a 3-piece puzzle:
