While that’s an amazing Christmas movie and I watch it every year, it’s not Biblical :(

In the pantheon of film there is so much better than this trash.

And there is definitely much worse. Noah, for instance.

The Last Temptation of Christ
Jesus (1999) I really liked this TV mini-series, with Jeremy Sisto, Jeroen Krabbé as a very slick Satan, Gary Oldman, and Debra Messing.
All the Jesus Christ Superstar films (I own at least 3) have great moments and performances. I wish I could piece them together into a perfect, coherent production.

The original Ben Hur. The crucifixion scene is, to me, more emotionally moving than Passion of the Christ, if (obviously and drastically) less graphically detailed.

The Ten Commandments and Ben-Hur are terrific, all-time greats.

Plus, those aren't "Biblical" films.
Anyway, for a good Christian-themed movie, watch The Case for Christ. It's not going to win any awards, but it has the best acting to date for a Christian movie.
