The only thing that both movie franchise have in common now is you can watch their respective trailers and have no idea what the movie is about except explosions!
I mean even going back to the original Fast and Furious (Which was a real movie) the trailer is just cars exploding.

F&F was always a pretty douchey "I live my life a quarter mile at a time" franchise. It's stayed true to it's roots. People that claim that it got worse, just grew up and got less douchey and have nostalgia for the old ones.
Transformers is an abortion of a beloved 80's cartoon with the only redeeming quality of eye candy.
Transformers wins worst easily and it's not even remotely close.

Up until two weeks ago, I had only seen the first Transformers. But with the new one coming I thought I'd try and watch them all.
It took me a week to get through the second and third one. I seriously got dumber. Those movies are terrible. I'm not even going to attempt the fourth one.

I actually liked Dark of the Moon a lot. Yes of course the humans were stupid and annoying like in every movie, but I've learned to ignore them.

Transformers is pretty bad, when you consider how ate up it is with Bay AND Labeouf.
A couple of the F&F had their moments (however fleeting). Still pretty bad, but not as bad as Transformers, IMHO.

The first Transformers was better than anything in the F&F catalog. The second one was about equivalent to the median of the F&F franchise. The third one may be worse than all of the rest. I refused to see anymore Transformers after that.
I can rewatch the first Transformers a lot. I can't slog through any of the F&Meathead movies a second time.
I guess due to the fact Transformers #1 is rewatchable it gets a slight nod. Coin flip.
