I honestly thought the same thing, it's rather ambiguous, not like they called it out even if she is. Not that I care either way. Having gay/trans/lesbian characters isn't an issue in the slightest as long as they are well written, and she was a character that moved Max's character arc in an interesting way. That stuff only becomes an issue is it becomes a focus of the show with terrible writing on top of it. Which is many times the case, but not here.

As someone who has beaten every main Fallout title (some several times), this show is a fricking wet dream and so far after two episodes they are absolutely nailing it

It's not ambiguous and they did call it out. The tranny is referred to using they/them pronouns. It was 100% cast AND written in.

I'm about 4 episodes in and I don't think I've seen a Nuka Cola yet. Those things were all over the place in the games

Without reading potential spoilers, the first 3 episodes have been outstanding. I’m sure nitpickers have something to say, but from someone perspective that’s not really a gamer, it’s pretty freaking awesome.
