Not really.It was really just coincidence.
The coolest thing about all of this is about this war between Fox and Marvel/Disney because not only the Marvel IPs, but the Star Wars IP.
I believe immediately after Disney acquired Marvel, Fox announced the reboot of F4 was going to take place.
The F4 is by far the most Disney appealing IP Marvel has.
Marvel was going to give Fox and extension to rebooting Daredevil IF Fox relinquished Silver Surfer and Galactus (grouped into the F4 IP obviously) and Fox realizing what Marvel really wanted said no. Daredevil then fell back into Marvel's lap and now we see the DD/Defenders ambitious slightly more adult oriented Netflix projects.
It's cool to follow.

And you will be able to do that very soon as I can confirm here that the teaser will be on Kingsman in theaters February 13.

well i can tell you this is a straight up lie. its been over a month of reshoots already.
they had to reconstruct entire sets. you dont do that and bring in an entire production team for 3-4 of reshoots. principal photography started last march. this movie is costing fox so much to make right now. it wouldnt shock me if their final budget is close to 200M

Honestly, idk if any of this makes the light of day if Trank knew how to treat his team. There have been A LOT of big productions in Louisiana the last few years. They werent all hits. But when you treat your team like shite, they don't have much reason to protect you.
