ER is the best medical drama ever right?

Gotta be. One of my top 10 dramas period.
I've been rewatching it on hulu and 8 seasons in and it's still just so good.
John Carter is the best TV doctor ever too.

There's still some good there but officially jumps the shark when the helicopter comes back to finish the job on Romano.

I’m always amazed at how making a show about a hospital is a guarentee to get like 200 seasons

I actually like shows like NY Med that was a documentary style show following real life ER doctors/nurses in various NYC hospitals. While I'm sure some of it is still over dramatized for TV purposes, the fact that the stories are based on real life just makes it more interesting.

Love’s Labor’s Lost is the best episode of er, and maybe one of the best drama episodes ever.
