people complain that there is no character development and now they develop the characters and people still complain
the show jumped the shark for me when they had vince unable to get work when every big star in Hollywood makes a clunker and still finds work. That was the most unbelievable plot line for me.

This Character Development is not breaking news either. I mean, we all knew one of these days the Entourage would begin to go their seperate ways. I could have told you that E would go out on his own and find other clients, I could have told you that Turtle would get tired of being treated like a bitch. This season has just been so fricking predictable and its a joke.
But....I did think it was hilarious when 50 Cent pulled up on the side of Turtle and asked him how Daddys Car Drove.

what exactly do you want from the show then dude...its not like it has ever tackled controversial or groundbreaking ideas.
I thought this was the best episode in several years. I like that Ari has actually grown to respect the guys more. E's scene going after the studio girl was hilarious. Turtle actually trying to do something with his life makes him a much more sympathetic and likable character than when he just mooches off Vince. I think you're going to see Ari's full fury come out on Lumberg pretty soon. This season has been great so far.

Anyone else see E turning into an Ari clone in a season or two and ultimately working for Ari or taking over his biz if Ari moves onto something else? Just trying to look ahead as to how they might close this thing out. How many seasons are left?

That would be a very interesting course of events. Would completely change the show.

I just can't imagine this happening. Sure it's a show, but it seems far fetched that a guy with a law degree and a couple decades of experience would ever turn his company over to a guy who didn't even go to law school (I'm not sure about his undergrad situation). Right now E has 2 clients. One is his best friend, and the other just got fired from acting on his own show. Unless there are 4 or 5 more seasons, I just can't see them fricking up Ari's character by having him turn the reigns of his company over to E.

i don't know about taking over the company but i could see ari taking him under his wing. last night when E busted into the bitches office he looked exactly like ari....E normailly wears casual stuff but he was decked out in a suit, pretty much acted and spoke just like him. he was pretty much patricklus in troy. "he even moved like him"
prediction: ari gets fed up and fires kline, bypasses llyod to hire E, lloyd leaves, E ends up flaming out because he has too much moral character to deal with the lying and scumbaggery of being a real agent, ari goes crawling back to lloyd who ends up becoming his #2 and E goes crawling back to vince who takes him back because he's so lonely without him.
and WTF was up with no sloan last night. the kleenex were out in full force, i even had backups. but all i was left with was a girl who looks like a sophomore at chapelle and blue balls.
