I would think that child abuse and statutory rape is at much lesser levels than it used to be. The industry was a nasty oligopoly (horizontal and vertical), and people don't have to put up with that anymore. And there's just a lot more media and cultural sunshine on the issue.
Where it occurs, is probably with prostitutes. The gay actors (I suspect a much higher percentage than Hollywood leads one to believe) don't want to come out of the closet, and the straight ones don't want to be seen trolling bars for a one night stand.
And with prostitution often comes under-age.

Wasn't there a big reddit post from a guy claiming to have inside knowledge and basically said this shite it like Sandusky level throughout all levels of Hollywood, and Nickelodeon is the worst and names a couple directors/producers that are the biggest offenders in there?

There was a blind item post, supposedly from RDJ, about Hayden Pantierre being passed around Hollywood when she was really young. I think he even said her parents were pimping her out.

Nothing would surprise me about Hollywood. Like pretty literally nothing.
And the worst part has to be the parents who know what's up and still push their kids into the industry and who either turn a blind eye to things, or even in some cases aid and abet that shite.
I'd bet movies like Starry Eyes (minus the supernatural aspect) are far closer to reality than just normal casting couch type shite.
