In an era where too many comedies try too hard it is perfect.

Ive seen it a thousand times but I do remember how hard I laughed the first time I saw it. Ill agree it is one of the best of all times. My favorite line...

"We got no food, we got no jobs, OUR PETS HEADS ARE FALLIN OFF"

Never forget my dad taking me when I was a freshman in HS to see it at the theater.

I’ve never been so embarrassed in my life. He cry laughed the whole time and people were staring at us. Lol

I seriously had to duck in the seat during the toilet scene.

I'm not even sure that's one of the GOAT comedies.

It might be THE GOAT comedy.

At least as far as the slapstick dumb comedy subgenre is concerned.

It is easy to dismiss, but it is a straight throwback to the Stooges, Abbott and Costello, the Marx Brothers - and done so well, so quotably, it is a great comedy that does not try too hard at all.

Having Daniels next to Carey elevates the acting and timing beyond what most modern comedies can even approach.

Underrated part of the movie is the soundtrack. It’s a great one

You mean to tell me Lloyd, that you've had two pairs of gloves on this whole time?

Yeah Har, we're in the Rockies.

It's the face Carey makes at him when he says that. That, yeah you idiot, face.

My favorite part of this exchange is that Harry tackles him and begins strangling him at this point, to which Lloyd remarks, "Your hands are freezing!" while being choked to death.

What I think is criminally underrated about this movie is the actual plot/storyline.

Woman drops off bag full of money at airport for mobster to pick up. Good samaritan picks up bag instead. Good samaritan makes it his mission to track lady down across the country to return her briefcase, all the while the mobster is on the heels of good samaritan trying to kill him/intercept the briefcase. Come to find out the FBI has been onto the mobster for some time and is also on the tail end of this cat and mouse game, which culminates with all parties convening in a wild shootout at a hotel.

I mean hell that's basically a stripped down version of no country for old men

I've said it a hundred times...If I can go back in time and watch a movie over again for the first time, it'd be Dumb and Dumber.

Laughed so hard...

I saw that with my dad when I was 8 and we was crying laughing when Harry destroyed that poor girl's toilet lol. My dad couldn't stop laughing at Cbass when he hawked in Lloyd's burger.

"How was your day?"

"Not bad. Fell off the jetway again"

It's so subtle, but this line kills me every time

Definitely one of the best. My Grandma (who looked at Jim Carry like Tommy Lee Jones did) couldn't even help but laugh at it.
