quote:

Dream Scenario tells the strange tale of evolutionary biologist Paul Matthews (Nicolas Cage), an ordinary man whose quiet life of teaching apathetic college students about the behaviors of ants and other animals is upended one day when he starts inexplicably appearing in people’s dreams. Like his wife Janet (Julianne Nicholson) and his two young daughters, Paul has no solid answers as to why so many people who have never met or even seen him begin encountering him in their subconsciousness while they sleep.

quote:

But once it becomes clear that Paul’s nocturnal appearances are something of a global phenomenon, he’s all too ready to embrace the attention that comes with them, and Dream Scenario’s trailer makes it pretty clear that he doesn’t really understand just what all he’s getting himself into.

I love that Cage continues to makes these smaller quirkier comedic/dramatic films. I think its where he really shines the most.

This reads like a Dean Koontz book.

Yea that looks fun though I never really bought Cage as an action star even though I do like some of his action movies.

He's never met a script that he didn't like.

There is something about Cage’s quirky personality that just grabs me. I like watching just about anything he is in. I remember seeing him for the first time when I was in high school in the early 80’s in Valley Girl.

I watched sympathy for the devil last night for $.99 on Apple if you like Cage. Watched retirement plan also.

I watched this movie last night. It was one of the most original movies I think I've ever seen. Very funny yet dark at times. I was at the edge of my seat the whole time. Highly recommend yall checking this out

Really enjoyed it up until the beginning of the last act (after the school play).

Thought he was about to break into a full-on sprint during the gym scene, BTW.

I saw Dream Scenario in the theater. It was pretty good (other than the ending) and I'd say it's worth seeing once.

I also recently watched Beau Is Afraid, the other unusual movie I'd been looking forward to. It's really wild and surprisingly funny.
