Can't believe that no one commented on last night's show. I knew that the hospital argument and Lord Grantham's illness were about to cross paths, but I din't expect the fricking Exorcist.

I thought he might pass out. I was taught off guard when he hurled blood especially the second time. I actually jumped.

Prior to the drama, the Dowager was in fine form again.

He's going to get himself into trouble complaining about her cooking or lack thereof.

So, how long is the Dowager going to be gone? I'm going to be upset if she's not in future episodes. There aren't many left and she's my favorite character.

Looks like they're trying hard to redeem Barrow before the season ends.

Mary had a near loss with that accident and hightailed it in the other direction. That writing was on the wall.

Mrs Hughes and Carson are cracking me up. Carson trying to cook the meal was funny stuff.

i know the actor who plays the Dowager wanted to leave the show. I have a feeling she will only be back for the finale. Which really sucks.

they seem to be writing "outs" for a lot of characters. Moseby getting a teaching job. Daisy seems to be ready to leave the nest. The guy who can't read seems like he will have a future with the pig farming. Edith may finally get married.Mrs Pattmore seems to have something going with mason.

yeah, the whole Mary dating a race car driver never made sense. it will probably end with her and Tom taking over Downton.

Mrs Hughes' plan to teach Carson was really funny. think he will have a lot more respect for how hard that job really is.

Not sure what they're going to do with Thomas. You'd think that Moseby leaving would help out the payroll crisis and give Thomas some breathing room.

I must not have been paying close attention because Mrs. Pattmore's B&B came out of nowhere. She's got her out, as well, as far as income.

Wonder when Edith will tell her suitor that Marigold is really her child and not the family ward?

Definitely looks like Mary and Tom will run Downton. Wonder if they're going to stick them together romantically to seal the deal?

My wife and I have been saying for a while that Mary and Tom will end up together.

I think Edith will tell her guy in the next episode.

How many episodes are left?

Dick Grayson, Roy Harper...

Evidently rich people used to take in kids and raise them as their own (without adopting them for some reason).

Since his return, I've suspected that might happen.

I hope so and I'd like Mary to know, also, so we can see her response to it.

I haven't looked, but aren't there usually only 6 or 7? Can't be too many left.

8 regular episodes and the Christmas episode, which is the finale. Yesterday's episode was episode #7, so there are only two more episodes. The finale airs February 28.

really. even during the episode where her dad was spitting blood all over the dining room, Mary seemed to be more interested in what edith and others were saying about marigold.

Would that be weird from a female POV? From a male POV it's not. Mary's hot. Tom would end of story. But from a female POV is it weird that Mary would end up with her brother in law?

Tom's too good for Mary and Mary thinks she's too good for Tom.

As much as I hated his character in the beginning, I really hope they give Thomas a happy ending. I feel so sorry for his character now.

Just seems like the season goes quickly, I guess.

Yes and no. Maybe back then, though, it would be strange. I don't know how that was seen in those days. I've known it to have happened when it didn't seem strange mainly because the two people went together so well. Good matches. The cousins just become siblings. They're being raised together like siblings anyway.

I think the statement about Tom being too good for Mary and Mary thinking she's too good for Tom may have been very true, though it seems to me that Mary has been much more accepting and respecting of Tom lately. They seem more like brother and sister, though.
