Don't be mad at D&D. They're doing their best.

Are you folks really angry at D&D because they aren't as good at writing ASOIAF as GRRM?
Because that would be a hell of a thing.
If you want to be mad at someone, and it's cool if you do, be mad at GRRM for basically leaving the whole production hanging.
I love ASOIAF, and I love the show (even Sunday's episode), but I've got enough sense to let each exist separately at this point.
You've been melting long enough. Let's enjoy the ending we get instead of endlessly bitching about it.

The majority of fans liked the episode, the internet just loves to blow shite way out of proportion.
If George finished the damn books we wouldn't have to worry about D&D finishing out the story with minimal help from George. At least George told them how it ends. Which by the way means it ends with a battle for the throne so yes the NK was not the endgame

dont get me wrong the episode execution was incredible, I just didnt like the story.
For sure looking forward to the last 3.

Don't mistake the M/TV opinion for the overall public opinion.
Most people I know thought it was one of the best hours+ of TV ever, or at least close to it.
The only friends I have that didn't like it are the same ones that think they're smarter than everyone else because they ready all the books multiple times and don't feel like this is how it should go. ETA: The same people have bitched about basically everything since the show passed up the books.

I don't personally know anyone that didn't love it. Also many of the big GOT YouTube channels loved besides Preston but he hates everything post season 4

DnD should of paid more respect to the Others is my deal, but its not gonna make me not watch and start a youtube channel over it .

It’s been declining since Dance With Dragons so season 5. That is why the bitching on here has been so annoying. I am not sure why y’all expected another season 3/4
There is a reason Martin hasn’t finished the books, he wrote an impossibly massive world and can’t refocus it towards an ending

When zombie Martin eventually finishes.
My hope is that he has really written all he needs towards the end and is just dividing and editing. But I know it's misplaced.
