re: Does anyone not have The Dark Knight as the GOAT comic book movie? If so what is it?

I loved the Dark Knoght when it came out and will always hve an appreciation for it, I think I’m just tired of it the way classic movies can get tired due to over exposure.

Into and Across the Spiderverse have lately become my favorite comic book movies. They’re just fricking cool - the characters, the animation, the music, everything works.

Shout out to Constantine as an under appreciated comic book movie that has the single best depiction of Satan ever filmed (and while Keanu is a weird choice for an otherwise blond, bisexual limey - he just kinda works for the setting of seedy LA)

Yes. Forgot this one.

When Winter Soldier came out the prevailing wisdom on this board was, "Another good Marvel movie but another weak villain". The revisionist history of people outdoing each other trying to praise it has become a cottage industry. When I watch CA: Civil War now I fully expect one of Bucky's activation phrases to be Rosebud.

I like Man of Steel better

I don't think I'd have much trouble naming ten comic book movies I like more than TDK. It has very little rewatch factor for me. I always found it boring like every other Nolan movie.
