Just got out of theaters. I'll say more tomorrow.

But as for now, what the frick. I definitely did not come into this movie expecting to see someone get chopped in half, or see a guy turn his brain into mush.

yeah, Wanda wrecked shite so quickly it was hard to process.

Imagine the most powerful organization taken down by an possessed suburban mom.

But to your point. I wonder how close this movie came to being R...because I almost feel like it deserves an R.

So glad the movie is finally out! I loved working on it and it's good to not have to worry about spilling secrets anymore. Although I still haven't seen the entire movie from start to finish.

I'm still confused how that actually happened.

Since when could she reshape reality like that to remove a dude's mouth?

I mean remove a dudes mouth is a pretty specific example but she has complete control over people’s bodies when she fkn motions towards them so maybe she took control of his skin and made it cover his mouth or something

I’m biased because the original Dr. Strange is one of my favorite Marvel movies, but I thought that movie was Incredible. Was it trippy and convoluted? Sure. But I don’t think that makes it bad

Wanda and Strange both had some really poignant moral dilemmas and character development. Wong is invincible as per usual.

Throwing music notes and making classical pieces out of them, while fricking ridiculous, was kind of genius. Making strange 2 fall into strange 1’s universe while dead and then strange 1 dream walking into strange 2’s dead body that had been buried? Such a fricking good idea. The “souls of the damned” thing was pretty weird though

I think the real best part of this movie by far though was Wanda. The set up with her and Billy and Tommy, her deciding that she would give up everything as well as kill a child just to have them, and then seeing her heart completely shattered when she realized they would never be her true kids? And all because America opened the portal to show her what would happen? Man that was some fricking heart wrenching stuff

For Stephen, finding out that there are infinite multiverses, and then being tempted by a multiverse where he could be with Christine, only to find out later there wasn’t a single one of the infinite multiverses where they were together? Damn man that’s gotta be rough.

The super hero dialogue was definitely heavy on this one, and I think the worst of it was when Christine told the souls to go back to hell. That was pretty bad.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed it

I was legit mad when he was so quick to reveal shite to Wanda just because she was torturing some guys who he already assumed were dead. Hell old girl sacrificed herself to weaken wanda and he is like...nope here's how you can get stronger wanda.

Also, he fell at least 100 feet onto his back on solid rock and and was perfectly fine.

I was shocked at no versions of Vision.

Thrilled to see Captain Carter in the flesh.

Not surprised ultimately at no version of Tony Stark, but it's the MCU. The Ton Cruise rumors may ultimately be correct, so the "No" could actually be "Not yet".

Remember when folks were convinced Strange was going to be in WandaVision? The twins stuff had to be filmed at the time of WV, otherwise they'd have aged out. The Westview scenes were filmed concurrently with WV and MoM, presumably. Cruise Stark may make an appearance yet.

Wanda single-handedly smoking the 838-Illuminati shouldn't necessarily shock anyone. She nearly took out Thanos with 5/6 Infinity Stones.

I actually thought Wanda 2 might ask Wanda 1 to live with them knowing how much it hurt to it not have kids of her own and the fact that she was obviously a single mom.

But we got to see the Brazier of Bom'Galiath properly used, so that was a payoff from DS1

I thought SW in this movie was so well written, and her dialogue and delivery was spot on. when she tells them that what she is about to do to them is her showing mercy, was so fricking good.

i hope SW isn't dead, cause she is so good.

Early discussion about this movie was that Wanda might be the villain, but the trailer showing Strange talking to her in the orchard, asking for her help seemed to successfully juke the speculation.

Her intensity in every scene was nice.

This will be an unpopular opinion but I HATE Captain Carter. I love Hayley Atwells fine arse as Peggy Carter but I just don't like the character Captain Carter. Hated the first What If episode.

That all made her being sliced in half so damh satisfying.

Reading a bunch of nerds saying that Johnny K was miscast as Mr. Fantastic.

They need to be reminded of fricking Miles Teller and Ioan Gruffud smh
