lol. yes. Now if during the next strike AI has somehow proven it can produce 20 cohesive scripts in whatever genre is needed, then the strike will end and then there might not be another one.... because the writers will all be fired.

There is the writing of plots and stories, and then there is the writing of dialogue. These are two completely different things. While I do think AI can create some basic content for entertainment, I have never seen anything that I would consider funny dialogue written by AI. Think of Tropic Thunder, a very funny movie. I think AI could write the basic story., but I don't think that it would come close to writing the dialogue in the movie.

And consider the fact that 10 years ago nobody would have voluntarily gotten into a self driving car.
