The world is not gay, trans, or woke; they are just trying to make it that way and losing money.

Take strong alpha male characters and add in pretty female actors as supporting characters. Remove social commentary that will not age and make movies about good defeating evil, it is just that simple.

If you are going to tap into video games as source material, remain true to the source material and do not try to "hollywood" it. I go back to the Tomb Raider reboot would make a kick arse movie trilogy, but the keep screwing it up. Take the games and put them to film as the games are, with the actress playing Lara true to her game figure. They got it right casting Jolie back in the day, but have not nailed the new one. A true to form GTA would be "R" rated, but make a crap ton of money.

If they are using books as source, do not waiver from source. Lord of the Rings is a perfect example. The Jackson Trilogy was near perfection, while Amazon strayed way to far and Jackson did screw up Hobbit, but I think the studios are to blame on that one. Dune is a decent example of them doing a pretty good job of doing their best to not stray as some books are very hard to adapt.

Simple version though -
Strong Men
Pretty Women
Violence/Comedy
Happy Ending.

This is the way unironically. Make Kingdom Hearts and Knights of the Old Republic but make it for the audience that’s already built in and count the money. There’s already strong female characters included in both franchises so it appeases the maximum amount of retards everywhere.
