I thought it was a funny movie when it came out but I haven’t seen it since and was wondering how it holds up today?

Possibly the greatest sports movie ever created by humans.

Say what you will about Matt and Trey, but the sons of bitches know story structure.

Edit: someone on this board hates Baseketball. Show yourself, cock.

I actually didn’t watch it until I was in my 30’s and thought it was ok. Not nearly as much rewatch ability as let’s say Super Troopers. It was funny but I expected more from the creators of South Park

BASEketball is hilarious and actually a really sharp commentary on the sports industry. It touches on everything from greedy owners, corporate sponsorship, player antics, and how the loyalty that fans have for their teams is no longer matched by the teams themselves. Of course they do it in their own Matt and Trey way, but it's still a top notch comedy and super quotable.

Saw it in the theater and laughed my arse off. Saw it right after the holidays and it didn't hold up as well as I remembered. Still has its moments.

The Jenny McCarthy innuendos were ridiculously funny.

First she "lays down some carpet".

"That's three rooms done. Those corners are tricky."

Then she "buffs his lobby"...literally

Then she actually sucks the chrome off a trailer hitch.

Did anyone not like baseketball? Movie is terrific. But then again 90s comedies like this and dirty work and right in my wheel house.

The Fosters beer parody vs the SF team may have been the hardest I laughed in a theatre

I didn’t know there were two threads on this.

BASEketball is a fantastic movie. And it holds up really well IMO. Like someone said, it harpoons lots of things really greatly and is jus funny in its own right as well. And the story is solid. It’s well acted but that isn’t some hard thing to do I guess.

Great scene when they are playing those two douches at the party when they are making it up as they go along. “What, are you not sports guys?”

Crazy coincidence I guess, I was drunk last night and made the Squeak thread and then the other one popped up round the same time.

Loved that movie in 99. We got Direct TV that summer and I must've watched it a dozen times or so. I imagine it hasn't aged well.

Dude, listen to me carefully. Do you think Shaq got rich playing in Orlando?

No, he got rich in college, everybody knows that.
