Agreed. This show can get away with having a crazy bitch in the story as long as we get some nudes. It worked well with Lila, I'm sure it would work with Rita.

Maybe they're showing you what happens when you get married. When Dex was dating Rita she was always horny and we got lots of shots of her fine naked arse. Now that they're married nothing. Poor Dex.

Yes, Rita needs to be topless at least once a show. Then she could do whatever she wanted.
I'm pretty sure Trinity didn't shoot Lundy and Deb. Lithgow is just plain freaking me out. This last episode I was actually almost believing he was innocent and not actually the Trinity killer. Hard to explain. He has some serious pathology, and I think the writers are using that to mess with us.
That being said, I'm really enjoying this season because it is still really flushing out Dexter's character. He's genuinely as conflicted now as he's ever been, and thats what makes the show interesting for me. Dexter is singularly more human and animal than Trinity is. Trinity is almost like a broken record, no conscious thought, just repetition.
This season really seems to be a lot about family, so I think focusing on Trinity's family and his son as the potential shooter could make a lot of sense. We'll see.

Yes he has. It was crazy enough just having the two most successful serial killers in history driving around under there assumed identities in a van. But when he started doing the happy dance about taking Dexter to his big surprise I was just flinching in fear. Then when he's sitting at the table with the family in the restaurant....wow....makes me want to never go out to eat again.

I viewed it differently. Dexter isn't really that sexual. The season theme is about juggling a family, job, and people hunting. (trinity has managed to do it)
Rita gets neglected because Dex is so busy so she is vulnerable when superdad the neighbor comes around.

after thining about it...trinity's son shot lundy after seeing him in the paper.....he is watching his dad and knows what he does.....he too is scarred and protecting his father.......

I was just joking about the whole no sex after marriage thing just playing off the cliche. I did wonder how Dex was going to handle family life and his dark passenger. There have been some bumps in the road but so far he's managed to keep everything together up to this point. He even has Rita happy about the effort he's putting into being a good dad and husband. Then comes Mr. perfect dad and neighbor to screw everything up.

Yeah that was pretty uncomfortable. It seems like he's coming apart a little bit but maybe its an act.

Been thinking about the possibility of the killer being Trinity's son...Is it possible the writers are trying to tie in the fact that Dex is learning how to be a dad this season and that this could be a wake up call, that if Trinity's son can become a killer then so could Harryson?

What I don't understand though....why was Trinity seemingly committing suicide? I didn't get to see the previews for next week. Also, was that the actual last of his ashes? Do you think that means that he was reaching an end? Could a serial killer of 30 years actually reform? Would dexter find it interesting enough to keep him alive to see if he is reformed?

It did seem like the last of the ashes so maybe he was going to kill himself because it was over. I can't see Dexter letting him live but also he has never let someone live this long when he knows they're guilty. Trinity's smart it won't be an easy kill for Dexter.

I forgot about the coffin. So...if he built it for himself that means he was going to Tampa to commit suicide. Which also means that Dexter's revelation had nothing to do with Trinity wanting to commit suicide.

God Rita is such a count. Anybody else think that she will somehow find a way to blame DEXTER for her being a cheating bitch? He'll turn out to be the bad guy, not her.

She'll probably bring up how he banged Lila and say some other shite about how his lack of attention drove her to do it. They need to show her naked or just have her keep her mouth shut because she's annoying as hell.
