When I lived in Austin I had a job that reminded me so much of Initech in so many ways. To the point where I actually looked it up only to find Mike Judge was from Austin and had written that movie about his experience working at a company about a half mile away from where my office was and that Office Space was filmed in that area of North Austin.

Where they filmed Micheal's route to work was pretty close to my actual drive in.

Where they filmed the interior of Chotskies is now a Kerby Lane Cafe near where I lived and would go fairly regularly.

So yeah, I relate to that movie.

If he has it in him, Mike Judge needs to revisit the concept and make an Office Space type movie about the new millenial "open work" spaces with standing desks, treadmill desks, ping pong tables and nap rooms. It's begging to be parodied. (I work in one)

It's all worth it if you get to take a Jen Aniston type for a ride on the ole bone roller coaster.

A co-worker gave me this as she was leaving for another job (she was a big fan of the movie as well).

When we would have to work extra long, and hard, our manager would want us to take a break and have a movie day in the conference room. Office Space was watched in these situations, at least once a year.

It's one of my favorite movies.

Sorry, I accidentally downvoted you.

Peter’s job would’ve been so much easier if he had just remembered to add the damn tps cover sheet.

[Peter laughs and then notices Lawrence's dead serious expression]

Peter Gibbons: That's it? If you had a million dollars, you'd do two chicks at the same time?

Lawrence: Damn straight. I always wanted to do that, man. And I think if I were a millionaire I could hook that up, too; 'cause chicks dig dudes with money.

Peter Gibbons: Well, not all chicks.

Lawrence: Well, the type of chicks that'd double up on a dude like me do.

Peter Gibbons: Good point.

That is unassailable logic right there

He already has except it is in a 30 minute tv show format. If you aren't watching Silicon Valley then you should be.
