I haven't seen this but wiki'd it. I just assumed the tears from the viewer would come from the son getting all emotional about seeing the video about his dad.

Watched this last night...
Probably the most disturbing movie I have ever seen.
Anyone who doesn't believe in original sin and that all people are good to the core, need to watch Shirley in this movie.
Also, very discouraging how an accused murderer would be out on bail AND still have custody over any children.
