I may be a minority but I liked haywire. She was pretty rough in that though. John Cena and the Rock were pretty terrible at their first entries into acting. Both of them found their niche.
Also, we either get Gina Carano and Rhonda Rousey taking some of these action roles, or continue to have movies where Charlize Theron and Margot Robbie beat up dozens of armed men.
And Gina Carano has always done it for me. Whether cutting weight as an MMA fighter or her current more thicc status.

They don't really have that mindset if I'm not mistaken. Andrew Klavan, who I'm not totally sure is involved in that segment of the company, was a big writer in Hollywood for more than a few years. He knows what's good and what's cheesy hallmark channel level, not that those movies aren't appealing to some demographics.

Hope Ben Shapiro isn't using unions for production. I would bet he would try to avoid them anyway, since Carano is basically a Hollywood pariah at this point.

I don't think he does anything in this part of the company other than sell the products on his shows.

There are quite a few people in Hollywood who disapprove of what happened to her but remain silent because they know what will happen to them if they come out defending her.
