After the batman/superman film..are they each going to get another standalone film? I was thinking darkseid would be the right villain for another chance to team up if it works.

That seems like it would be around 2023.
There's nothing definitive out there. He's just been acknowledged by Snyder as a future villain. I'm thinking he'll be in the second or third JL film.. Braniac has also been tossed around. A Man of Steel sequel has not been announced, but I'm sure one is coming. As of right now it's:

2016
March 25: Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice
August 5: Suicide Squad

2017
June 23: Wonder Woman
November 17: Justice League, Part 1

2018
March 23: The Flash
July 27: Aquaman
Nov: The Batman

2019
April 5: Shazam
June 14: Justice League, Part 2

2020
April 3: Cyborg
June 19: Green Lantern Corps

Final crisis isn't Canon

You sure about that? For some reason I always considered it canon.

that didn't kill him, actually put him in a position of power with all the time jumping.

Well it mortally wounded him, and then the Flashes and Superman finished him off. But granted, there was a lot of crazy spirit/essence of Darkseid crap going on after he "died".

Dan Didio announced that Crisis on Infinite Earths, Infinite Crisis, and Final Crisis are officially non canon in the DCU.

The movies based on those characters and stories make billions seems like a good indication.

There's probably dozens of characters that could whip Doomsday. Hulk or Thor could probably handle him.

When did this happen? How can all the Crisis series not be canon? I guess I no longer know anything about the DCU.

BTW...do you have a link to Didio's statement?

Darkseid is the baddest and most powerful of them all in pure and raw strength.

Thanos is next.

Apocalypse

Doomsday

Onslaught could be a wildcard in this though.

I ignored those because shite like galactus, living tribunal, etc are just goofy and don't belong in discussion. No way characters like that can be written well

Onslaught could probably fight any 2 of these guys at once.

My favorite Hypotheticals:

-Superman vs Sentry

-Wolvie vs Lobo

-Punisher/Cap vs. Batman/Nightwing

-Green Lantern vs Silver Surfer

-HoM Scarlet Witch vs Spectre

-Ghost Rider vs Spawn

-Malcolm 'Mal' Reynolds vs. James T. Kirk

-Starlord vs. Han Solo

Dr. Doom is just killed the entire Marvel multiverse and created his own universe.

It's Doom, because he is the smartest and has mystical powers as well.

Doom w/Beyonders powers is unstoppable.

but since we are talking about these guys, I am going to link Thanos and Darkseid: Carpool Buddies of Doom
