Dane Cook is living proof that one lame stand up routine can catapult you into the spotlight.

I've tried watching this guy's stand up routine 3 or 4 times.

I've watched parts of a couple of his movies.

I've seen him interiewed and his attempts at ad lib.

He is spectacularly dull and unfunny. If that's even possible.

Dane Cook was funnier when I was in middle school.

I actually thought Employee of the Month was decently enjoyable. And I loved Waiting (though, like someone said, Cook wasn't in that very much).

But generally speaking, I don't like Dane Cook. I think the hate for him is also overblown, but I've never really liked him.

Employee of the Month is highly underrated. Also, Cook had strong supporting roles in Mr. Brooks and Dan in Real Life.

Two movies I like pretty good. But they arent "Dane Cook movies" if we want to get technical.
I dont see his comedies bc they look like bad movies no matter who is plying in them. If Jessica Simpson is a co-star, chances are, im never going to see that movie.

I've never paid money for any of his cd's but here are two bits I laughed at when I heard them...

When he starts talking about the drive through

guy gets hit by a car

I mean he's not the greatest, but he's not as bad as everybody makes out.

Mr. Brooks was good, but when Dan Cook got owned with a shovel, it only made it better.

His standup when he first came out was pretty hilarious, IMO.
